fasting while fever

Actually during an illness, a patient should not be forced to eat or drink if they don't feel like it. The body body needs it to heal itself and needs the energy that would otherwise be spent on digesting food. This is why we lose our appetite when we are ill. It will be good to fast. It's only a matter of hours.
