Could you explain this a little more?
Normally I can read situations like this pretty well, but this incident just has me baffled. Who has benefitted from this event? Are the rest of us supposed to be forgetting about Darfur as a result of this, or are the Sudanese somehow wanting to give a little power display? I just don't get it.
Can anyone work out what this was really about?
