- Surah An'am, verse 60.

Meaning: It is He who doth take your souls by night, and hath knowledge of all that ye have done by day: by day doth He raise you up again; that a term appointed be fulfilled; In the end unto Him will be your return; then will He show you the truth of all that ye did.

و لسليمان الريح عاصفة تجري بأمره إلى الأرض التي باركنا فيها و كنا بكل شيء عالمين

Walisulaymana arreehaAAasifatan tajree bi-amrihi ila al-ardiallatee barakna feeha wakunna bikullishay-in AAalimeen

(It was Our power that made) the violent (unruly) wind flow (tamely) for Solomon, to his order, to the land which We had blessed: for We do know all things. (QS. Al Anbiya : 81)

OR

ولسليمان الريح غدوها شهر ورواحها شهر وأسلنا له عين القطر ومن الجن من يعمل بين يديه بإذن ربه ومن يزغ منهم عن أمرنا نذقه من عذاب السعير

Walisulaymana arreehaghuduwwuha shahrun warawahuha shahrunwaasalna lahu AAayna alqitri wamina aljinni manyaAAmalu bayna yadayhi bi-ithni rabbihi waman yazighminhum AAan amrina nuthiqhu min AAathabi assaAAeer

And to Solomon (We made) the Wind (obedient): Its early morning (stride) was a month's (journey), and its evening (stride) was a month's (journey); and We made a Font of molten brass to flow for him; and there were Jinns that worked in front of him, by the leave of his Lord, and if any of them turned aside from our command, We made him taste of the Penalty of the Blazing Fire. (QS. Saba : 12)

WajaAAalna baynahum wabayna alqura allatee barakna feeha quran thahiratan waqaddarna feeha alssayra seeroo feeha layaliya waayyaman amineena

meaning::34:18 Between them and the Cities on which We had poured our blessings, We had placed Cities in prominent positions, and between them We had appointed stages of journey in due proportion: "Travel therein, secure, by night and by day."

Al-Qasas (The Narration) [28:50]

Fain lam yastajeeboo laka faiAAlam annama yattabiAAoona ahwaahum waman adallu mimmani ittabaAAa hawahu bighayri hudan mina Allahi inna Allaha la yahdee alqawma alththalimeena Al-Qasas (The Narration) [28:50]

meaning: 28:50 But if they hearken not to thee, know that they only follow their own lusts: and who is more astray than one who follow his own lusts, devoid of guidance from Allah. for Allah guides not people given to wrong-doing.

I was listening to Quran the other day, there was a verse to the effect that ... we created the world so that there would be daleel (Huj'jat)against people...


Forgot to note down the verse #. I tried search engines but can't find the ref.#. Does anyone know of this verse???
