I'll be surprised if someone can get this quickly. There are so many ayahs like this in the Quran so if someone says the surah its from and the ayah after, thats amazing.


And in general, all you guys know the Quran soooo good. Its like u know every answer with ease. Was it always like that for you, cuz inshallah I can become complete Hafidh later this month, but I need a lot of work for my review. Mostly when u ask the question, I recognize the ayah and can finish it with some doubt, but i need a few more ayahs to know what surah, sometimes a lot more ayahs to find the surah. So did u guys used to be like that, and how much manzil(dor, review) would u do after completing the Quran?

Akhee it comes with time, when you finish your Quran it will be the weakest but if your constant and read EVERY day then inshAllah within a year or two you will notice your quran becoming stronger and stronger.

for me personally if you told me an ayah i will always be able to tell you atleast what surah it is in inshAllah, and most often then not I can tell you the ayah after it

wen i finish inshallah i'm gona need alooot of review
i dedicate my summers for review though and the rest of the year i memorize
i'm finishing surah al-anbiyaa' right now
i started getting serious on memorizing about two years ago
inshallah i can finish soon

You should check out the the Dubai International Quran Contest. Its a memorization contest and the best young huffaz from around the world get asked questions from the Quran like we are doing on this thread. But they have to keep on reading up to 2 pages afterwards, its very tough.

Yh it is ... I think even before the competition, theres an initial test for all the applicants; those who do not succed cannot participate.
