I'm a revert with a full sleeve blackout tattoo covering a christian tattoo. Both the original tattoo and the cover up where done poorly and left scars that can be noticed at a glance. The cover up is patchy there are places you can see skin. Total removal would cost $8,000 at minimum I can't afford that. I used to party before I was muslim and I'm not a virgin. I wan't a good practicing hijabi for a wife. She can have a past I only care about who she is today and will be tomorrow. I don't care If she has made some mistakes as long as she wants and intends to be devout now. I know I'm looking for someone without kids but wants to have them and that would make a good mother. Is this possible/realistic? I can have an artist poor some more ink into it until it is solid and looks better.

Assalamu Alaikum bro,

Since you've reverted to Islam whatever sins you've committed in the past have been forgiven by Allah, so you don't need to worry about covering up your tattoo with more tattoo (which would be worse) or removing it if you can't. What's important is that you are practicing and no longer engage in what you've done previously.

As for marriage, what you've done in the past should not affect your prospects. You are looking for exactly what any Muslim man should look for in a wife. Inshallah Allah blesses you with what is best for you ameen.

As a person who have watched countless convert videos and heard their stories, what you are saying is rather a common thing.

Just two examples of people who are well known in the dawah community.
Hamza from hamza's den(youtube channel) was living with his girl friend and even had 2 daughters with her, and as she wasnt okay with him being a Muslim and denied his marriage he eventually married again.

Jordan from Jordan M (youtube channel)
He mostly does live, so I dont remember which one it was.

Both are married now. Jordan didnt marry for a long time even after becoming Muslim and leaving his past life, but he married very recently Mash Allah.

So about your question...
Is this possible/realistic?
It isnt only realistic, rather it IS the reality of most converts in the west.
