wait no rhyming nd freestyle pretty much the same. u make lines on the spot. poetry nd freestyle is a huge diff.........poetry is gay nd freestyle isnt. but hey thats just a view from someone livin in america forever :)
 
But hang on, when I write 'poems', I make them up on the spot too. I dont call it freestyling though. The difference dont seem clear :p

hmm lets go in detail.....
here, wherever u go, ppl freestylin
on ur way to skool on the bus, in school, everywher, yeh even in class, a kid goes "hey mr ___, what was the rule?" nd som other kids says "man cmon we aint in preschool" nd anotherk id goes "dude thats a bit cruel" nd keeps goin till the teacher says "hey u gotta stop bein a fool " :p . nd jus wherever u go ppl say "lets spit" menaing lets spit sum lines at each otehr, nd they go on nd on nd on till one of them gives up. in gangsta cities it turns deadly, lol. its still awesome tho.

freestyle is when you visualize sentences with one or multiple rhyming words and the only difference between freestyle and poem's is the time factor, with poem's you have to think and perhaps write things down and that takes time but freestyle no pen and no paper, you just speak your mind
