It saddens me,
When I see brothers and sisters being gangster wannabe's

Not praying like they should,
Hanging on street corners in the hood,

Fighting over gang turf,
Like something outta the smurfs,

Hanging out like thugz,
Drinking alcohol and taking drugs,

Tryna be like 50 cents,
But on the last day he aint gonna be worth 50 pence,

Even when its Ramadan,
They don't give two about islam,

They'd rather live there twisted ideologies,
But on the last day there won't be time for apologies,

They tryna be the next best thing,
But listen carefully to my linguistic sting,

Islam aint just for Fridays,
If you think that prepare to be set ablaze,

So keep hold of your imaan,
And follow the Islamic clan,

The reward in the hereafter is gonna be greater,
So keep Islamic, coz we all gonna die sooner or later,

Don't kid yourself into thinking your still young,
Indeed this is the shaytaans tongue,

Take heed of the quran and sunnah,
And islam will take you to jannah,

Now sadly I must end,
But, contemplate the words I spoke my friend..​
 
MashaaAllah sis, that was great! sadly a reality with us now a days but inshaaAllah if it applies to anyone who reads it, it'll make them change and do better.

yeah its sad how people try and immitate that nonsense. dont they know muslims are the best of creation? then why are we trying to follow something different and a way of life that seems to accept everything non-islamic

:sl: Masha'allah beautiful poem. It saddens me when I try to give Dawah (especially to brothers) and act like a good muslimah, they take offence to it sub7anallah! Insha'allah they will be lead to the right path!

it is sad how our generation this day imitates
singers, rappers etc.. Insha'allah I hope this nonsense stops now!..

Mashalllahhh very nice poem and i know what you mean about these brothers nd i have witnessed alot of this..its like a trend that they followin they don't know tht jst followin islam gives them respect..
 
mashallah sis that was really good.

I no how it feels because i went on that path to (may allah forgive me) i used smoke drugs and do alot of bad stuff. i used to have stupid haircuts and fight for no reason and got sent to prison for something i never did this is where i realised and made me into a total different person. Thought id give a little brief.sorry.. but really and truly ive got to take my hat of to you. that was good mashallah
 
i know how sad and i think that is a lot of a waste in there life i think they should have a long break and think about there future !!!!!!!!!
 
MashaAllah, this is brilliant. Unfortunatly i have many young cousins who are starting to act all 'gangsta' they don't smoke or drink but i'm worried they will in future. Maybes after reading this something might sink in.
