I don't have any access to any software...so at the moment it's just 2D....

I've had previous experience with CAD programs such as 3Ds Max etc.

At the moment I'm restriced (limited user ;D), I am also restricted to how much Hard drive space I use too.....Annoying 12GB hard drives

I use mainly Bryce (used to be corel's program) and ParticleIllusion. I used to use Corel Painter Classic a lot, mostly for post-production effects, but now that I have ParticleIllusion I mainly use that for post-production special effects. I now use Corel Painter Classic almost exclusively for geofiction (it draws nice borders on maps).

I mostly do sci-fi-themed work, with some landscapes.
