What's so beautiful about it?Fine I'll tell you it's explaining the status of women and her honor.Some could be very easy and others well respected and faaaaaaaaaaar to reach.

I just don't know what kind of people sit and come up with garbage like that. really? I don't know anyone who eats rotten apples. we need a better anology.

Oh dear..... I think when u think abt it the analogy does work with the idea of a tree (mayb the apples is a bit ambiguous) but still i think the post does deliver a message across, which does make sense.

LOL, biggest flaw? Its natural, girls dont get to choose where they get put on the tree, because it is a natural process...

i never knew that such a poem could cause so much caos, this is ridiculous. i never knew we had such Literal- minded ppl hereThis poem like many others are not to be taken literally, it has — "the literal and the allegorical concept ", the allegorical is anything beyond literal sometimes a parable is meant to be literal and other times it is more. ( in the case of this poem) Sometimes a rose is just a rose. Yet there is something that persists in the human heart which in the right context insists on envisioning the rose as a woman.

This is one of the effects of poetry so let us have the invitation to perceive beyond the literal. Allah (SWT) and his messenger (SAW) have explained many aspcts of the Deen using Parables.

"Indeed We have made propounded unto men all kinds of parables in this Qur'an,so that they might understand"
[surah al-Zumar; 39: 27].

with that been said let us open our minds and hearts, and not criticize, look down upon other let us Humble ourselevs even in speech and questions if you dont understand atlest say instead, "Mashallah, but i dont understand XYZ" Subhnallah why are we being so mean to others for why so much pride? Let us not make such comments that can hurt someone.

may Allah protect us from that ~Aameen!~

If I may add:

Sadly too many of us men, never realise that to find the perfect apple we need to stop looking in Palm trees. Palm trees may be interesting and exotic, but we will never find an apple in one.
