Freedom of speech is as impractical as it is idealised. I don't think that even in the US a citizen has complete freedom to utter absolutely anything he or she wants to - or maybe if he or she can say it, yet I doubt he or she can have it printed or published. I understand this pertains to the legality of certain matters - but even so, if we want to get technical about it, the very notion that some things are unpublishable insofar as they breach a law or laws means that complete freedom of speech isn't achieved.
