Heh, giant salamanders are cute, banana slugs not so much. A protective crown of mountains holds back the cold wind and frost from the rest of the country and traps the warm systems. It results in some very weird weather conditions!Yes, the rainforest is a beautiful area. You all have some very unique critters living there such as banana slugs and giant salamanders. Hard to believe an almost tropical forest like condition occurs so far north.
