Not really. It didn't stop some people from creating divisions within Islam and claim themselves to be a prophet even though Allah and His Messenger clearly stated there would be no more to come after Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wassalam and that Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wassalam would be the seal of ALL the previous Prophets(as).

As the sister previously posted the verses, try reading them and understanding them as you are the one who asked for them.

No there is one Islaam, To believe in oneness of God,
There is proof of Islaam,. dont base a whole topic on your own thinking..
What proof do you have that Guru Nanak is the prophet? and that Islaam is a old version and god changed his mind?

Guru Nanak Ji (PBUH) is prophet because he had all these qualities:
The first duty that a prophet of God does is to tell his people that he has been appointed a prophet by God to invite people to His way.
A prophet has to claim himself to be a prophet of God.
Genuine prophets all kinds of temptations that ordinary humans would fall but he himself would ignore these and go forward with their God-given mission.
Allah could have changed its mind and sent Guru Nanak (PBUH) because of Hindu-Muslim fighting for who is best.

as Chapter 4 verse 43 is this :

O you who believe! Approach not AsSalat (the prayer) when you are in a drunken state until you know (the meaning) of what you utter, nor when you are in a state of Janaba, (i.e. in a state of sexual impurity and have not yet taken a bath) except when travelling on the road (without enough water, or just passing through a mosque), till you wash your whole body. And if you are ill, or on a journey, or one of you comes after answering the call of nature, or you have been in contact with women (by sexual relations) and you find no water, perform Tayammum with clean earth and rub therewith your faces and hands (Tayammum). Truly, Allah is Ever Oft Pardoning, Oft Forgiving.
 
I'm growing quite weary of copy and pasters. How many more must we deal with? When they patiently, logically and intelligently can't defend their words, they resort to crap such as this. What else could you expect from the likes of the ignorant? As Allah says...they are blind and have a seal on their hearts.

Did you even think before saying such crap or it just came outta nowhere. The verses I have c&p are from Guru Granth Sahib and are just as true as the verses you c&p from Quran. The verses I posted should pretty much clear up everybody's mind Guru Nanak Dev Ji (PBUH) were prophet of Allah and every Muslim should accept that and become Sikh.

Did Guru Nanak practice shirk. NO!
Seal is made when the messenger is sent by God and what seal did Mohammad(PBUH) possess which Guru Nanak (PBUH) did not.
