The strong person is not the good wrestler. Rather, the strong person is the one who controls himself when he is angry.(Sahih al-Bukhari, Book 73, #135)”

On the authority of Abu Dharr Jundub ibn Junadah, and Abu 'Abd-ir-Rahman Mu'adh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with them) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessing of Allah be upon him) said:"Be conscious of Allah wherever you are. Follow the bad deed with a good one to erase it, and engage others with beautiful character."

On the authority of Abdullah ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:I have been ordered to fight against the people until they testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, and until they establish the salah and pay the zakat. And if they do that then they will have gained protection from me for their lives and property, unless [they commit acts that are punishable] in Islam, and their reckoning will be with Allah.

Hazrat Adi bin Hatim At-Tai (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: I heard The Messenger of Allah[SAWW](PBUH) say: "He who has taken an oath (to do something) but found something else better than that (which brings him closer to Allah), then he should do that which is better in piety (and he should expiate for the breaking of oath)".
