Sahl bin Sa'd (May Allah be pleased with him) reported : The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Whosoever gives me a guarantee to safeguard what is between his jaws and what is between his legs, I shall guarantee him Jannah."

Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah

17th Muharram 1438 (18th October 2016)

Narrated Abu Huraira (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "Allah the Most
Superior said, "The son of Adam slights Me, and he should not slight Me,
and he disbelieves in Me, and he ought not to do so.

As for his slighting Me, it is that he says that I have a son; and his disbelief in Me is his
statement that I shall not recreate him as I have created (him) before."

Today’s Beautiful Advice is about Remedy

Did you know that Hijama (cupping) is one of the most recommended Sunnahs by the Prophet (peace be upon him)

Read what our Nabi said about it

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "If anyone has himself cupped (Hijama) on the 17th, 19th and 21st, it will be a remedy for every disease."

(Sunan Abi Dawud 3861)

One of our HOTD members has created a free guide to what cupping actually is. Please click below to download it and benefit from the beauty of the above Hadith.

Juwairiyah bint Al-Harith (May Allah be pleased with her), the Mother of the Believers, reported:
The Prophet (ﷺ) came out from my apartment in the morning as I was busy in performing the dawn prayer. He came back in the forenoon and found me sitting there. The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Are you still in the same position as I left you." I replied in the affirmative. Thereupon the Prophet said, "I recited four words three times after I had left you. If these are to be weighed against all you have recited since morning, these will be heavier. These are: Subhan-Allahi wa bihamdihi, `adada khalqihi, wa rida nafsihi, wa zinatah `arshihi, wa midada kalimatihi [Allah is free from imperfection and I begin with His praise, as many times as the number of His creatures, in accordance with His Good Pleasure, equal to the weight of His Throne and equal to the ink that may be used in recording the words (for His Praise)]."

[Muslim].

The Messenger of Allah salaAllahu alayhi wa salam said: "Whoever innovates something in this matter of ours (i.e. Islam) that is not part of it, will have it rejected."

Sahih

This is from Qur'an... but i'm putting it here anyway, so our members can know that NO MUSLIM CAN CLAIM TO KNOW THEIR FUTURE.

Indeed, Allah [alone] has knowledge of the Hour and sends down the rain and knows what is in the wombs. And no soul perceives what it will earn tomorrow, and no soul perceives in what land it will die. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Acquainted.

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Apostle (may peace he upon him) saying:
You have heard about a city, one side of which is on land and the other is in the sea (Constantinople). They said: Allah's Messenger, yes. Thereupon he said: The Last Hour would not come unless seventy thousand persons from Bani lshaq would attack it. When they would land there, they will neither fight with weapons nor would shower arrows but would only say: "There is no god but Allah and Allah is the Greatest," and one side of it would fall. Thaur (one of the narrators) said: I think that he said: The part by the side of the ocean. Then they would say for the second time: "There is no god but Allah and Allah is the Greatest" and the second side would also fall, and they would say: "There is no god but Allah and Allah is the Greatest," and the gates would be opened for them and they would enter therein and, they would be collecting spoils of war and distributing them amongst themselves when a noise would be heard saying: Verily, Dajjal has come. And thus they would leave everything there and go back.

[Sahih Muslim 2920]

Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah

19th Muharram 1438 (20th October 2016)

Narrated Abu Dhar (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) asked me at sunset, "Do you know
where the sun goes (at the time of sunset)?" I replied, "Allah and His
Apostle know better."

He said, "It goes (i.e. travels) till it prostrates
itself underneath the Throne and takes the permission to rise again, and it
is permitted.

A time will come when it will be about to prostrate itself
but its prostration will not be accepted, and it will ask permission to go
on its course but it will not be permitted, and it will be ordered to
return from where it has come and so it will rise in the west.

And that is
the interpretation of the Statement of Allah: "And the sun runs its fixed
course For a term (decreed). That is The Decree of (Allah) The Exalted in
Might, The All-Knowing." (36.38)

A servant committed a sin and he said: O Allah, forgive me my sins, and Allah (the Exalted and Glorious) said: My servant commited a sin and then he came to realise that he has a Lord Who forgives the sins and takes to account (the sinner) for the sin. He then again committed a sin and said: My Lord, forgive me my sin, and Allah, the Exalted and High, said: My servant committed a sin and then came to realise that he has a Lord Who would forgive his sin or would take (him) to account for the sin. He again committed a sin and said: My Lord, forgive me for my sin, and Allah (the Exalted and High) said: My servant sas committed a sin and then came to realise that he has a Lord Who forgives the sins or takes (him) to account for sin. O servant, do what you like. I have granted you forgiveness. 'Abd al-A'la said: I do not know whether he said thrice or four times to do" what you desire".

Abdullah b. Mas'ud reported Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) as saying: Telling of truth is a virtue and virtue leads to Paradise and the servant who endeavours to tell the truth is recorded as truthful, and lie is obscenity and obscenity leads to Hell-Fire, and the servant who endeavours to tell a lie is recorded as a liar.
