O Lord! wretched or blessed (in religion)? What will his
livelihood be? What will his age be?' The angel writes all this while the child is in the womb of its mother."

Narrated Abu Huraira: Some people asked the Prophet (peace be upon him): "Who is the most honorable amongst the people?" He replied, "The most honorable among them is the one who is the most Allah-fearing." They said, "O Allah's Prophet! We do not ask about this." He said, "Then the most honorable person is Joseph, Allah's Prophet, the son of Allah's Prophet, the son of Allah's Prophet, the son of Allah's Khalil." They said, "We do not ask about this." He said, "Then you want to ask me about the Arabs' descent?" They said, "Yes." He said, "Those who were best in the pre-lslamic period, are the best in Islam, if they comprehend (the religious knowledge).
(Sahih al-Bukhari, Vol. 4, Book 60, Hadith 53)

Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah

Narrated 'Abdullah (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

When the Verse:-- 'Those who believe and mix not their belief with wrong.'
was revealed, the Muslims felt it very hard on them and said, "O Allah's
Apostle! Who amongst us does not do wrong to himself?" He replied, "The
Verse does not mean this. But that (wrong) means to associate others in
worship to Allah: Don't you listen to what Luqman said to his son when he
was advising him, "O my son! Join not others in worship with Allah. Verily
joining others in worship with Allah is a great wrong indeed." (31.13)

Duha prayer is a nafal prayer made when in the morning the sun rises enough and can be made until 20 minutes to 30 minutes before the zuhur prayer. There are many ahaadeeth for its importance but in this hadeeth the great importance of this salaat is very clear. So we all must make it every day.

I have translated this Hadeeth, may Allah forgive me for any mistake. Only Allah knows best the words of HIS Prophet salla Allaho alaihi wa sallam.
