Narrated Abu Musa (RA): I heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) many times say: When a servant of Allah is accustomed to do a good work, then becomes ill or goes on journey, what was accustomed to do when he was well and staying at home will be recorded for him.

(Sunan Abi Dawud, Book 21, Hadith 3)
 
Narrated Jarir (RA): Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) came out to us on the night of the full moon and said, "You will see your Lord on the Day of Resurrection as you see this (full moon) and you will have no difficulty in seeing Him."

Bara’ bin ‘Azib said: “I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: ‘Allah and the angels send blessings upon the first row.’”

It was narrated that Anas bin Malik (RA) said: “The Prophet (ﷺ) performed Hajj on an old saddle, wearing a cloak that was worth four Dirham or less. Then he said: ‘O Allah, a Hajj in which there is no showing off nor reputation sought.’”

It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas that Fadl (RA) said – or vice verse: “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘Whoever intends to perform Hajj, let him hasten to do so, for he may fall sick, lose his mount, or be faced with some need.’”

A'isha (RA), the Umm al-Mu'minin, said, "I did not see anyone who more resembled the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, in manner of speaking than Fatima (RA). When she came to him, he stood up for her, made her welcome, kissed her and had her sit in his place. When the Prophet came to her, she stood up for him, took his hand, made him welcome, kissed him, and made him sit in her place. She came to him during his final illness and he greeted her and kissed her."

It was narrated that ‘Ali (RA) said: “When the following was revealed: “And Hajj (pilgrimage to Makkah) to the House (Ka’bah) is a duty that mankind owes to Allah, for whoever can bear the way.” [3:97] They asked: ‘O Messenger of Allah, is Hajj every year?’ He remained silent. They asked: ‘Is it every year?’ He said: ‘No. If I had said yes, it would have become obligatory.’ Then the following was revealed: “O you who believe! Ask not about things which, if made plain to you, may cause you trouble.’” [5:101]

It was narrated from Safwan bin ‘Abdullah bin Safwan (RA) said that he was married to a daughter of Abu Darda’ (RA). He came to her and found Umm Darda’ (RA) there, but he did not find Abu Darda’. She said to him:
“Do you intend to perform Hajj this year?” He said: “Yes.” She said: “Pray to Allah for us to grant us goodness, for the Prophet (ﷺ) used to say: ‘The supplication of a man for his brother in his absence will be answered. By his head there is an angel who says Amin to his supplication, and every time he prays for his brother, he says: “Ameen, and the same for you.’” He said: “Then I went out to the marketplace where I met Abu Darda’, and he told me something similar from the Prophet (ﷺ).”

Abdullah (bin Mas'ud) (RA) narrated that: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Alternate between Hajj and Umrah; for those two remove poverty and sins just as the bellows removes filth from iron, gold, and silver - and there is no reward for Al-Hajj Al-Mabrur except for Paradise."

(Jami`at-Tirmidhi 810, Book 9, Hadith 2)
 
Narrated Abu Huraira (RA): The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Whoever performs Hajj for Allah's pleasure and does not have sexual relations with his wife, and does not do evil or sins then he will return (after Hajj free from all sins) as if he were born anew."

Ibn Umar (RA) narrated: "The Prophet (SAW) would say the following for the Talbiyah: "Labbaik Allahumma labbaik. Labbaik la sharika laka labbaik. Innal-hamda wan-ni’mata laka wal-mulk, la sharika laka." ('I respond to Your call O Allah! I respond to Your call. You have no partner. I respond to Your call. All praise, thanks and blessings are for You. All sovereignty is for You. And You have no partners with You).'"

(Jami`at-Tirmidhi 825, Book 9, Hadith 18)
 
Ibn Umar (RA) narrated: "A man stood and said 'O Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him)! What clothing do you command us to wear in Al-Haram?' The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: 'Do not wear shirts, nor pants, nor burnooses, nor turbans, nor Khuff - unless one does not have any sandals, then let him wear Khuff, but let him cut them below the ankles. And do not wear any cloth that has been touched by saffron or Wars. And the woman in Ihram is not to cover her face, nor wear gloves.'"

(Jami` at-Tirmidhi 833, Book 9, Hadith 26)

Narrated Ibn 'Abbas (RA): "We were with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) on a journey when the (Day of) Adha came, so we shared seven for a cow and ten for a camel."

Aishah (RA) narrated that: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Al-Fitr is the day that the people break the fast, and Al-Adha is the day that the people sacrifice."

Hudhaifa (RA) and Abu Mas’ud (RA) got together and Hudhaifah said: I know best what the Dajjal (Antichrist) will have with him. He will have with him a sea of water and a river of fire, and what you see as fire will be water and what you sea as water will be fire. If any of you who lives up to that time and desires water, he should drink from what he sees as fire, for he will find it water. Abu Mas’ud al-Badri said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say in this way.

It was narrated that Abu Mas'ud Al-Ansari (RA) said: "It was said to the Prophet (ﷺ): We have been commanded to send salah and salams upon you. We know how to send salams, but how should we send salah?' He said: Say:


اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا بَارَكْتَ عَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ



'Alahumma salli 'ala Muhammad wa 'ala ali Muhammad, kama sallaita 'ala Ibrahima wa barik 'ala Muhammad kama barakta 'ala ali Ibrahim fil-'alamin, innaka hamidun majid
(O Allah, send salah upon Muhammad and upon the family of Muhammad, as You sent salah upon the family of Ibrahim).'"

(Sunan an-Nasa'i 1286, Book 13, Hadith 108)
 
It was narrated from Abu Salam (RA): the Prophet (SAW) said: "There is no Muslim - or no person, or slave (of Allah) - who says, in the morning and evening:


رَضِيتُ بِاللَّهِ رَبًّا وَبِالإِسْلاَمِ دِينًا وَبِمُحَمَّدٍ نَبِيًّا


'Radaytu billahi Rabban wa bil-Islami dinan wa bi Muhammadin nabiyyan
(I am content with Allah as my Lord, Islam as my religion and Muhammad as my Prophet),'

but he will have a promise from Allah to make him pleased on the Day of Resurrection."

(Sunan Ibn Majah 3870, Book 34, Hadith 44)
 
Narrated Abu Huraira (RA): Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Our Lord, the Blessed, the Superior, comes every night down on the nearest Heaven to us when the last third of the night remains, saying: "Is there anyone to invoke Me, so that I may respond to invocation? Is there anyone to ask Me, so that I may grant him his request? Is there anyone seeking My forgiveness, so that I may forgive him?"

(Sahih al-Bukhari 1145, Book 19, Hadith 26)
