Hazrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) said, "If anyone calls others to follow right guidance, his reward will be equivalent to those who follow him (in righteousness) without their reward being diminished in any respect, and if anyone invites others to follow error, the sin, will be equivalent to that of the people who follow him (in sinfulness) without their sins being diminished in any respect".

If you were never hurt, how would you know I am the Comforter? If your life was perfect, then why would you need Me?” (Hadith Qudsi)

The wording of that looks suspicious, as we need Allah regardless of anything, and we recognise His qualities through His revelations, not through our circumstances. On checking, it is not authentic.

Hazrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) said, "Whoever performs Hajj (pilgrimage) and does not have sexual relations (with his wife), nor commits sin, nor disputes unjustly (during Hajj), then he returns from Hajj as pure and free from sins as on the day on which his mother gave birth to him.” [Al-Bukhari*Book 02, Chapter 26, Hadith #
596].

As-Salaam Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullahi Wa-Barakatuhu

Gifts - 5th Dhul Hijjah 1433 (21st October 2012)

Narrated An-Nu'man bin Bashir (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

That his father took him to Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) and said, "I have given this son of mine a slave."

The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) asked, "Have you given all your sons the like?" He replied in the negative.

The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said,
"Take back your gift then."

Bukhari Vol. 3 : No. 759

Hazrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) said, "(The performance of) `Umrah is an expiation for the sins committed between it and the previous `Umrah; and the reward of Hajj Mabrur (i.e., one accepted) is nothing but Jannah.”

[Al-Bukhari
Book 03, Chapter 27,
Hadith #
001].

Lesson : This Hadith tells us that the merit of `Umrah is that it is an expiation for sins. But this, too, is an expiation for minor sins. `Umrah includes assuming Ihram, circumambulation of Ka`bah, going between As-Safa and Al-Marwah and Halq or Taqsir (shaving of head or cutting hair). Whether or not `Umrah is an obligation like Hajj is arguable among the `Ulama’. Some people, like Imam As-Shafi`i, hold that it is obligatory; others like the followers of the Hanafi school of thought regard it Sunnah Mu`akkadah; still others think it to be voluntary. Imam Al-Bukhari is inclined to the first view which is also endorsed by sayings of some Companions of the Prophet (PBUH) about which some Muhaddithun (scholars of Hadith) have even claimed that these sayings are Mausul, the chain of narrators reaches up to the Prophet (PBUH). (For further details, please see Fath Al-Bari.) Otherwise, the view that it is non-obligatory is preferable.

596].

Abu Dharr said, "I asked the messenger of Allah, "what if a man loves a people but cannot join them?" He replied, " Abu Dharr, you are with the one you love." I said, " I love Allah and His messenger". he said, " Abu Dharr you are with the one you love."

Hazrat Aishah (May Allah be pleased with her) reported: The Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) said, "There is no day on which Allah sets free more slaves from Hell than He does on the Day of `Arafah.” [Muslim*Book 07, Chapter 77, Hadith #
3126].

الأربعون النووية، حديث ٢٣
‎-----------------------------------------------------------------
On the authority of Abu Malik al-Harith bin Asim al-Asharee (may Allah be pleased with him) who said:
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “Purity is half of iman (faith). ‘Al-hamdu lillah (praise be to Allah)’ fills the scales, and ‘subhan-Allah (how far is Allah from every imperfection) and ‘Al-hamdulillah (praise be to Allah)’ fill that which is between heaven and earth. And the salah (prayer) is a light, and charity is a proof, and patience is illumination, and the Qur’an is a proof either for you or against you. Every person starts his day as a vendor of his soul, either freeing it or causing its ruin.” It was related by Muslim.
