The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "None but a noble man treats women in an honorable manner, and none but an ignorant treats women disgracefully." [Tirmidhi]

[Hadith – Muslim, Book #032, Hadith #6309] “Abdullah reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: It is obligatory for you to tell the truth, for truth leads to virtue and virtue leads to Paradise, and the man who continues to speak the truth and endeavours to tell the truth is eventually recorded as truthful with Allah, and beware of telling of a lie for telling of a lie leads to obscenity and obscenity leads to Hell-Fire, and the person who keeps telling lies and endeavours to tell a lie is recorded as a liar with Allah.”

Muslim is afflicted with any harm but that Allah will remove his sins as

Narrated Abu Huraira (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

I heard Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) saying, "The good
deeds of any person will not make him enter Paradise." (i.e., None can
enter Paradise through his good deeds.)

They (the Prophet's companions)
said, 'Not even you, O Allah's Apostle?'

He said, "Not even myself, unless
Allah bestows His favor and mercy on me."

So be moderate in your religious
deeds and do the deeds that are within your ability: and none of you should
wish for death, for if he is a good doer, he may increase his good deeds,
and if he is an evil doer, he may repent to Allah."

Bukhari Vol. 7 : No. 577

It was narrated that ‘Aa’ishah (may Allaah be pleased with her) said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to fast until we thought he would not break his fast, and he used not to fast until we thought he would not fast. I never saw the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) fast a complete month except Ramadaan and I never saw him fast more than in Sha’baan.
[Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 1868; Muslim, 1165]

Usamah ibn Zayd said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, I do not see you fasting in any month more than in Sha’baan.’ He [Peace Be Upon Him] said:

‘That is a month concerning which many people are heedless, between Rajab and Ramadan. It is the month in which people’s deeds are taken up to the Lord of the Worlds, and I would like my deeds to be taken up whilst I am fasting.’
