Anas bin Malik said: “Whenever a matter would distress him, the Prophet (peace be upon him) would say: ‘O Living, O Self-Sustaining Sustainer! In Your Mercy do I seek relief (Yā Ḥayyu yā Qayyūm, bi-raḥmatika astaghīth).’” And with this chain, that he said: “The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: ‘Be constant with: “O Possessor of Majesty and Honor (Yā Dhal-Jalāli wal-Ikrām).’”

Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah

Narrated 'Aisha (Radi-Allahu 'anha):

Once the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) came while a woman was sitting with me. He said, "Who is she?"

I replied, "She is so and so," and
told him about her (excessive) praying. He said disapprovingly,

"Do (good) deeds which is within your capacity (without being overtaxed) as Allah does not get tired (of giving rewards) but (surely) you will get tired and the
best deed (act of Worship) in the sight of Allah is that which is done regularly."

Hind said, "O Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him)! (My husband) Abu Sufyan is a miser. Is it sinful of me to feed my children from his property?" The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "No, unless you take it for your needs what is just and reasonable."

he emigrated for."

When Allah's Apostle finished his preaching, he said, "Shall I tell you about these
three persons?

One of them be-took himself to Allah, so Allah took him into
His grace and mercy and accommodated him, the second felt shy from Allah,
so Allah sheltered Him in His mercy (and did not punish him), while the
third turned his face from Allah and went away, so Allah turned His face
from him likewise. "
