Narrated Az-Zuhri (RA): From Salim, from his father, that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "When one of you eats, then let him eat with his right hand, and let him drink with his right hand, for indeed Ash-Shaitan eats with his left hand, and he drinks with his left hand."

(Jami`at-Tirmidhi, Vol. 3, Book 25, Hadith 14)

Narrated Anas (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) delayed the'lsha' prayer till
midnight and then he offered the prayer and said, "The people prayed and
slept but you have been in prayer as long as you have been waiting for it
(the prayer)." Anas added: As if I am looking now at the glitter of the
ring of the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) on that night.

Narrated Abu Bakr bin Abi Musa (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

My father said, "Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said,
'Whoever prays the two cool prayers ('Asr and Fajr) will go to Paradise.' "

Narrated Anas (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):


Zaid bin Thabit said, "We took the "Suhur" (the meal taken before dawn

while fasting is observed) with the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam)

and then stood up for the (morning) prayer." I asked him how long the

interval between the two (Suhur and prayer) was. He replied, 'The interval

between the two was just sufficient to recite fifty to Sixth 'Ayat."

Narrated Abu Huraira (RA): Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said, "If the Imam leads the prayer correctly then he and you will receive the rewards but if he makes a mistake (in the prayer) then you will receive the reward for the prayer and the sin will be his."

Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "Whoever could get one

Rak'a of a prayer, (in its proper time) he has got the prayer."

Abdullah b. Mas'ud reported Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) as saying: Telling of truth is a virtue and virtue leads to Paradise and the servant who endeavors to tell the truth is recorded as truthful, and lie is obscenity and obscenity leads to Hell-Fire, and the servant who endeavors to tell a lie is recorded as a liar. Ibn Abu Shaiba reported this from Allah's Apostle (peace be upon him).

Narrated Anas (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "If anyone forgets a

prayer he should pray that prayer when he remembers it. There is no

expiation except to pray the same." Then he recited: "Establish prayer for

My (i.e. Allah's) remembrance." (20.14).

Thawban, the freed slave of Allah's Messenger, narrated that: Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said: "When Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) wanted to turn from his Salat, he would seek forgiveness from Allah three times, then say: (Allahumma Antas-Salam, wa minkas-salam, tabarakta ya dhal-jalali wal-Ikram) 'O Allah! You are the One free of defects and perfection is from You. Blessed are You, O Possesor of Majesty and Honor.'"

550. Hazrat Abaullah bin 'Amr bin Al-'Aas (ﷺ) says that a man asked the Holy Prophet (ﷺ): what in Islam is the best?' He answered: 'To feed people and to greet everyone (to say AssalamoAlaikum) whether you know him or not.'
عن عبد الله بن عمرو بن العاص رضي الله عنهما أن رجلاً سأل رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏:‏ أى الإسلام خير‏؟‏ قال‏:‏ ‏ "‏تطعم الطعام، وتقرأ السلام على من عرفت ومن لم تعرف‏"‏‏.‏ ‏(‏‏(‏متفق عليه‏)‏‏)

Narrated 'Abdul Rahman (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri told my father, "I see you liking sheep and the
wilderness. So whenever you are with your sheep or in the wilderness and
you want to pronounce Adhan for the prayer raise your voice in doing so,
for whoever hears the Adhan, whether a human being, a jinn or any other
creature, will be a witness for you on the Day of Resurrection."

Abu Said added, "I heard it (this narration) from Allah's Apostle. (Sallallahu
'Alaihi Wa Sallam)"

Narrated Jabir bin 'Abdullah (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "Whoever after
listening to the Adhan says, 'Allahumma Rabba hadhihi-d-da' watit-tammati
was-salatil qa'imati, ati Muhammadan al-wasilata wal-fadilata, wab' athhu
maqaman mahmudan-il-ladhi wa' adtahu

(O Allah! Lord of this perfect call
(of not ascribing partners to You) and of the regular prayer which is going
to be established! Kindly give Muhammad the right of intercession and
superiority and send him (on the Day of Judgment) to the best and the
highest place in Paradise which You promised him)', then intercession for
me will be permitted for him on the Day of Resurrection".

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah (RA) said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'Your Lord wrote for Himself with His Own Hand before He created the creation: "My mercy precedes My wrath."

Narrated Abu Huraira (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "If the people knew
the reward for pronouncing the Adhan and for standing in the first row (in
congregational prayers) and found no other way to get that except by
drawing lots they would draw lots, and if they knew the reward of the Zuhr
prayer (in the early moments of its stated time) they would race for it (go
early) and if they knew the reward of 'Isha' and Fajr (morning) prayers in
congregation, they would come to offer them even if they had to crawl."

125. Hazrat Abu Hurairah (ﷺ) relates that the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Iman (faith) has over seventy branches, the uppermost of which is the declaration: 'None has the right to be worshipped but Allah'; and the least of which is the removal of harmful object from the road, and modesty is a branch of iman."

Narrated Hafsa (Radi-Allahu 'anha):

When the Muadh-dhin pronounced the Adhan for Fajr prayer and the dawn

became evident the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) ordered a two

Rakat light prayer (Sunna) before the Iqama of the compulsory

(congregational) prayer.

Narrated Abu Burda's (RA) father: Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said "Three persons will have a double reward: 1. A Person from the people of the scriptures who believed in his prophet (Jesus or Moses) and then believed in the Prophet (peace be upon him) Muhammad (i .e. has embraced Islam). 2. A slave who discharges his duties to Allah and his master. 3. A master of a woman-slave who teaches her good manners and educates her in the best possible way (the religion) and manumits her and then marries her."

Narrated Malik bin Huwairth (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

I came to the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) with some men from my
tribe and stayed with him for twenty nights. He was kind and merciful to
us. When he realized our longing for our families, he said to us, "Go back
and stay with your families and teach them the religion, and offer the
prayer and one of you should pronounce the Adhan for the prayer when its
time is due and the oldest one amongst you should lead the prayer."

Mutarrif reported that his father said, "I went in the delegation of the Banu 'Amir to the Prophet (peace be upon him). They said, 'You are our master.' He said, 'The Master is Allah.' They said, 'The best of us in excellence and the greatest of us in generosity.' He said, 'Say what you like, but do not let Shaytan provoke you.'"

Narrated 'Abdullah bin Abi Qatada (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

My father said, "While we were praying with the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi
Wa Sallam) he heard the noise of some people. After the prayer he said,
'What is the matter?' They replied 'We were hurrying for the prayer.'

He said, 'Do not make haste for the prayer, and whenever you come for the
prayer, you should come with calmness, and pray whatever you get (with the
people) and complete the rest which you have missed.' "
