It was narrated from Umm Salamah (RA) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: “Whoever among you sees the new crescent of Dhul-Hijjah and wants to offer a sacrifice, let him not take anything from his hair or nails.”

(Sunan Ibn Majah, Book 26, Hadith 3270)
 
Al-Hajj Al-Mabrur
Abdullah (bin Mas'ud) (RA) narrated that: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Alternate between Hajj and Umrah; for those two remove poverty and sins just as the bellows removes filth from iron, gold, and silver - and there is no reward for Al-Hajj Al-Mabrur except for Paradise."

(Jami` at-Tirmidhi 810, Book 9, Hadith 2)
 
Narrated Abu Hurairah (RA): The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Whoever performs Hajj for Allah's pleasure and does not have sexual relations with his wife, and does not do evil or sins then he will return (after Hajj free from all sins) as if he were born anew."

(Sahih al-Bukhari 1521, Book 25, Hadith 9)
 
Ibn Umar (RA) narrated: "The Prophet (ﷺ) would say the following for the Talbiyah: "Labbaik Allahumma labbaik. Labbaik la sharika laka labbaik. Innal-hamda wan-ni’mata laka wal-mulk, la sharika laka." ('I respond to Your call O Allah! I respond to Your call. You have no partner. I respond to Your call. All praise, thanks and blessings are for You. All sovereignty is for You. And You have no partners with You).'"

(Jami`at-Tirmidhi 825, Book 9, Hadith 18)
 
Narrated Abdullah ibn Abbas (RA): The Messenger of Allah (SAW) offered the noon prayer on the 8th of Dhul-Hijjah (Yawm at-Tarwiyah) and dawn prayer on the 9th of Dhul-Hijjah (Yawm al-Arafah) in Mina.

Aishah (RA) narrated that: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Al-Fitr is the day that the people break the fast, and Al-Adha is the day that the people sacrifice."

Narrated Ibn 'Abbas (RA): "We were with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) on a journey when the (Day of) Adha came, so we shared seven for a cow and ten for a camel."

Abu Hurairah (RA) narrated that: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "The fast is the day the people fast, the breaking of the fast is the day the people break their fast, and the sacrifice is the day the people sacrifice."

Aishah (RA) narrated: "I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) while he was dying. He had a cup with water in it, he put his hand in the cup then wiped his face with the water, then said: 'O Allah! Help me with the throes of death and the agony of death.’”

(Jami` at-Tirmidhi 978, Book 10, Hadith 14)
 
Ibn Abbas (RA) narrated that: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "The Black Stone descended from the Paradise, and it was more white than milk, then it was blackened by the sins of the children of Adam."

Narrated Abdullah ibn Abbas (RA): The Prophet (ﷺ) said: He who intends to perform Hajj should hasten to do so.

(Sunan Abi Dawud 1732, Book 11, Hadith 12)
 
Abd Allah bin Umar (RA) said that he divorced his wife while she was menstruating during the time of the Apostle of Allah (ﷺ). So ‘Umar bin Al Khattab asked the Apostle of Allah (ﷺ) about this matter. The Apostle of Allah (ﷺ) said “Order him, he must take her back and keep her back till she is purified, then has another menstrual period and is purified. Thereafter if he desires he may divorce her before having intercourse with her, for that is the period of waiting which Allah the Glorified has commanded for the divorce of women.”

(Sunan Abi Dawud 2179, Book 13, Hadith 5)
 
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "No Muslim dies on the day of Friday, nor the night of Friday, except that Allah protects him from the trials of the grave."

(Jami` at-Tirmidhi 1074, Book 10, Hadith 110)
 
It was narrated from Abu Bakr as Siddeeq (RA) that he said to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) : Teach me a dua that I may say in my prayer. He said:

`Say: O Allah, I have wronged myself greatly and no one forgives sins but you, grant me forgiveness from you and have mercy on me for you are the Oft Forgiving Most Merciful.’

(Musnad Ahmad 8, Book 1, Hadith 8)



The beautiful dua is:


اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِي ظُلْمًا كَثِيرًا وَلَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ فَاغْفِرْ لِي مَغْفِرَةً مِنْ عِنْدِكَ وَارْحَمْنِي إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ
 
It was narrated that Abu Bakr as-Siddeeq (RA) said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘The Dajjal will emerge from a land in the east called Khurasan and he will be followed by peoples whose faces are like hammered shields.’

(Musnad Ahmad 12, Book 1, Hadith 12)
 
Hudhaifa (RA) said: When the Prophet (ﷺ) went to his mattress, he would say:


اللَّهُمَّ بِاسْمِكَ أَمُوتُ وَأَحْيَا، وَإِذَا اسْتَيْقَظَ


‘O Allah, in Your Name I shall die and live,’ and when he woke up, he would say:


لْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَحْيَانًا بَعْدَمَا أَمَاتَنَا وَإِلَيْهِ النُّشُورُ


‘Praise be to Allah, who has revived us after He caused us to die, and to Him is the resurrection!'

(Ash-Shama'il Al-Muhammadiyah 255, Book 39, Hadith 2)
 
It was narrated from Awsat bin Isma'eel al-Bajali that he heard Abu Bakr (RA), when the Prophet (ﷺ) had passed away, saying: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) stood last year in this place where I am standing. Then Abu Bakr wept, then he said: “You must adhere to the truth, for with it comes righteousness and they both lead to Paradise. And you must beware of lying for with it comes immorality and they both lead to Hell. Ask Allah to keep you safe and sound, for no one is given anything, after certain faith (yaqeen) that is better than being kept safe and sound.` Then he said: “Do not sever ties with one another, do not turn your backs on one another, do not bear grudges against one another, do not envy one another, and be, O slaves of Allah, brothers.`

(Musnad Ahmad 17, Book 1, Hadith 17)
 
It was narrated from al-Hasan that Abu Bakr (RA) addressed the people and said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: `O people, the people are not given anything better in this world than certainty of faith and well-being, so ask Allah, may He be glorified and exalted, for them.’

(Musnad Ahmad 38, Book 1, Hadith 37)
 
Anas ibn Malik (RA) said: “Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) was neither very tall of stature, nor short. His skin was neither pale white, nor tawny, and his hair was neither crisply curled, nor lank. Allah (Exalted is He) sent him [to serve as His Messenger] at the end of forty years of life, so he stayed in Mecca for ten years and in Medina for ten years, and Allah took him unto Himself at the end of sixty years, with fewer than twenty white hairs on his head and in his beard.”

(Ash-Shama'il Al-Muhammadiyah 384, 385, Book 53, Hadith 6)
 
Abu Malik al-Ashja'i (RA) reported that his father said: "Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said: “If someone sees me in his sleep, he has indeed seen me!”
