It was narrated from Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri (RA) that a man came to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) and said:" O Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him)! Which of the people is best?" He said: "One who strives with himself and his wealth in the cause of Allah." He said: "Then who, O Messenger of Allah?" He said: "Then a believer (isolating himself) in one of the mountain passes, who fears Allah and spares the people his evil."

(Sunan an-Nasa'i 3105, Book 25, Hadith 21)
 
It was narrated from Umm Salamah (RA) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: “You refer your disputes to me and I am only human. Perhaps some of you may be more eloquent in presenting your case than others, so I rule in your favour because of what I hear from you. If I pass a judgement in favour of one of you that detracts from his brother's rights, then he should not take it, because it is a piece of fire that is given to him which he will bring forth on the Day Resurrection.”

(Sunan Ibn Majah 2318, Book 13, Hadith 11)
 
Narrated Sahl bin Sa`d (RA): There was a woman amongst us who had a farm and she used to sow Silq (a kind of vegetable) on the edges of streams in her farm. On Fridays she used to pull out the Silq from its roots and put the roots in a utensil. Then she would put a handful of powdered barley over it and cook it. The roots of the Silq were a substitute for meat. After finishing the Jummah prayer we used to greet her and she would give us that food which we would eat with our hands, and because of that meal, we used to look forward to Friday.

Ibn Salamah As-Sulami (RA) narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "I enjoin each one to honour his mother, I enjoin each one to honour his mother, I enjoin each one to honour his mother (three times), I enjoin each one to honour his guardian who is taking care of him, even if he is causing him some annoyance."

(Sunan Ibn Majah 3657, Book 33, Hadith 1)
 
It was narrated from Shuraih (RA) that: He wrote to 'Umar (RA), to ask him (a question), and 'Umar wrote back to him telling him: "Judge according to what is in the Book of Allah. If it is not (mentioned) in the Book of Allah, then (judge) according to the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). If it is not (mentioned) in the Book of Allah or the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), then pass judgment according to the way the righteous passed judgment. If it is not (mentioned) in the Book of Allah, or the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), and the righteous did not pass judgment concerning it, then if you wish, go ahead (and try to work it out by yourself) or if you wish, leave it. And I think that leaving it is better for you. And peace be upon you."

Narrated Abu Sa'id Al Khudri (RA): Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said, "If a person embraces Islam sincerely, then Allah shall forgive all his past sins, and after that starts the settlement of accounts, the reward of his good deeds will be ten times to seven hundred times for each good deed and one evil deed will be recorded as it is unless Allah forgives it."

(Sahih al-Bukhari 41, Book 2, Hadith 34)
 
It was narrated from Abu Sa’eed Al-Khudri (RA) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “There is no prayer after the ‘Asr until the sun has set, and there is no prayer after the Fajr until the sun has risen.”

(Sunan Ibn Majah 1248, Book 5, Hadith 446)
 
Abu Hurairah (RA) narrated that: Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever performs Wudu, performing his Wudu well, then he comes to the Friday (prayer), and he gets close, listens and is silent, then whatever (sin) was between that and (the last) Friday are forgiven for him, in addition to three days. And whoever touches the pebbles, he has committed Lagha (useless activity)."
 
Tawus (RA) reported: We asked Ibn Abbas about sitting on one's buttocks (in prayer). (ala alqad mein) He said: It is sunnah. We said to him: We find it a sort of cruelty to the foot. Ibn 'Abbas said: It is the sunnah of your Apostle (ﷺ).

It is narrated on the authority of Tamim ad-Dari (RA) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "The Religion is sincerity." We said, "To whom?" He said "To Allah, to His Book, To His Messenger, and to the leaders of the Muslims and their masses."

(Sahih Muslim 55a, Book 1, Hadith 103
 
Narrated Ibn `Abbas (RA): The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "I saw Moses, Jesus and Abraham (on the night of my Ascension to the heavens). Jesus was of red complexion, curly hair and a broad chest. Moses was of brown complexion, straight hair and tall stature as if he was from the people of Az-Zutt."

It was narrated that Abu Sa’eed Al-Khudri (RA) said: “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to start his prayer by saying:


سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ وَتَبَارَكَ اسْمُكَ وَتَعَالَى جَدُّكَ وَلاَ إِلَهَ غَيْرُكَ

Subhanaka Allahumma wa bi hamdika, wa tabarakas-muka, wa ta’ala jadduka, wa la ilaha ghairuka (Glory and praise be to You, O Allah, blessed be Your Name and exalted be Your majesty, none has the right to be worshipped but you).

(Sunan Ibn Majah 804, Book 5, Hadith 2)
 
It was narrated from 'Umar (RA), meaning, from his father, his grandfather 'Umar, that: He gave a horse in charity at the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), then he saw its owner selling it for a low price. He went to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and asked him about that, and he said: “Do not buy what you gave in charity.”

(Sunan Ibn Majah 2392, Book 15, Hadith 3)
 
Malik (RA) related to me that he heard that Isa ibn Maryam (AS) used to say, "Do not speak much without the mention of Allah for you will harden your hearts. A hard heart is far from Allah, but you do not know. Do not look at the wrong actions of people as if you were lords. Look at your wrong actions as if you were slaves. Some people are afflicted by wrong action and some people are protected from it. Be merciful to the people of affliction and praise Allah for His protection."

(Muwatta Malik, Book 56, Hadith 1821)
 
Umar ibn al-Khattab (RA) said: “Allah’s Messenger said (Allah bless him and give him peace): ‘Do not extol me as the Christians extolled [Jesus] the son of Mary. I am merely a servant,’ so say: '[He is] Allah’s servant and His Messenger.’”

(Ash-Shama'il Al-Muhammadiyah 329, Book 47, Hadith 1)
 
Abu Hurairah (RA) reported many ahadith from Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and one is that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: I am most close to Jesus, son of Mary, among the whole of mankind in this worldly life and the next life. They said: Allah's Messenger how is it? Thereupon he said: Prophets are brothers in faith, having different mothers. Their religion is, however, one and there is no Apostle between us (between I and Jesus Christ).

It was narrated that Umm Salamah (RA) said: “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) entered upon Abu Salamah (after he had died), and his eyes were wide open. He closed his eyes, then he said: ‘When the soul is taken, the sight follows it.’”

(Sunan Ibn Majah 1454, Book 6, Hadith 22)
 
Narrated Anas (RA): Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "From among the portents of the Hour are (the following):

1. Religious knowledge will be taken away (by the death of Religious learned men).
2. (Religious) ignorance will prevail.
3. Drinking of Alcoholic drinks (will be very common).
4. There will be prevalence of open illegal sexual intercourse.

(Sahih al-Bukhari 80, Book 3, Hadith 22)
 
On the authority of Abu Harayrah (RA) from the Prophet (peace be upon him), who said: Allah (mighty and sublime be He) said: Spend (on charity), O son of Adam, and I shall spend on you. It was related by al-Bukhari (also by Muslim).

Narrated Anas (RA): The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Whoever said "None has the right to be worshipped but Allah" and has in his heart good (faith) equal to the weight of a barley grain will be taken out of Hell. And whoever said: "None has the right to be worshipped but Allah and has in his heart good (faith) equal to the weight of a wheat grain will be taken out of Hell. And whoever said, "None has the right to be worshipped but Allah and has in his heart good (faith) equal to the weight of an atom will be taken out of Hell."
