It was narrated that Hakim bin Hizam (RA) said: "The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: 'The two parties to a transaction have the choice so long as they have not separated. If they are honest and open, their transaction will be blessed, but if they tell lies and conceal anything, the blessing of their transaction will be lost."

(Sunan an-Nasa'i 4457, Book 44, Hadith 9)
 
Narrated Abu Hurayrah (ra): Do not prevent the female servants of Allah from visiting the mosques of Allah, but they may go out (to the mosque) having no perfumed themselves.

(Sunan Abi Dawud 565, Book 2, Hadith 175)
 
Abdullah bin Buraidah (RA) narrated that his father said: “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘The covenant that distinguishes between us and them is prayer; so whoever leaves it, he has committed Kufr.’”

(Sunan Ibn Majah 1079, Book 5, Hadith 277)
 
It was narrated that Abu Sa’eed Al-Khudri (ra) said: “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to start his prayer by saying:


سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ وَتَبَارَكَ اسْمُكَ وَتَعَالَى جَدُّكَ وَلاَ إِلَهَ غَيْرُكَ


‘Subhanaka Allahumma wa bi hamdika, wa tabarakas-muka, wa ta’ala jadduka, wa la ilaha ghairuka (Glory and praise be to You, O Allah, blessed be Your Name and exalted be Your majesty, none has the right to be worshipped but you).”

(Sunan Ibn Majah 804, Book 5, Hadith 2)
 
Abu Hurairah (ra) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: “Allah created a hundred mercies, and He placed one mercy among his creation, they show mercy to one another by it, and there are ninety-nine mercies with Allah.”

(Jami` at-Tirmidhi 3541, Book 48, Hadith 172)
 
Narrated Ibn `Abbas (RA): Once the Prophet (SAW) embraced me and said, "O Allah! Bestow on him the knowledge of the Book (Qur'an).”

Narrated Sumara (ra): Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said: “Whoever performs ablution on Friday has done a good thing and he who takes bath, taking bath is better (for him).” [Reported by Al-Khamsa and At-Tirmidhi graded it Hasan (fair).]

It is narrated on the authority of 'Abdullah b. 'Amr (ra) that a man asked the Messenger of Allah (may peace and blessings be upon him) which of the merits (is superior) in Islam. He (the Holy Prophet) remarked: That you provide food and extend greetings to one whom you know or do not know.

(Sahih Muslim 39, Book 1, Hadith 67)
 
Abu al-Aswad al-Dailani (ra) said: While we were present with Abu Dharr, he said: In the morning, alms are due for him, ever fast is alms, every pilgrimage is alms, every utterance of "Glory to be Allah" is alms, every utterance of "Allah is most great" is alms, every utterance of "Praise be to Allah" is alms. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) recounted all such good works. He then said: Two rak'ahs which one prays in the Duha serve instead of that.

Abu Hurairah (RA) narrated that: the Prophet (SAW) said: "The best day that the sun has risen upon is Friday. On it Adam was created, on it he entered Paradise, and on it, he was expelled from it. And the Hour will not be established except on Friday."

Yahya (RA) related to me from Malik (RA) that Yahya ibn Said (RA) that he had heard that when Abu Bakr as-Siddiq (RA) was ill he asked A'isha (RA), "How many shrouds did the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, have?" and she replied, "Three pure white cotton garments." Abu Bakr said, "Take this garment (a garment he was wearing on which red clay or saffron had fallen) and wash it. Then shroud me in it with two other garments." A'isha said, "Why's that?", and Abu Bakr replied, "The living have greater need of the new than the dead. This is only for the body fluids that come out as the body decays."

Narrated Anas (RA): Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "From among the portents of the Hour are (the following):
1. Religious knowledge will be taken away (by the death of Religious learned men).
2. (Religious) ignorance will prevail.
3. Drinking of Alcoholic drinks (will be very common).
4. There will be prevalence of open illegal sexual intercourse.

(Sahih al-Bukhari 80, Book 3, Hadith 22)
 
Narrated Abu Bakr (ra): The Prophet (ﷺ) said. "(The division of time has turned to its original form which was current when Allah created the Heavens and the Earths. The year is of twelve months, out of which four months are sacred: Three are in succession Dhul-Qa' da, Dhul-Hijjah and Muharram, and (the fourth is) Rajab of (the tribe of) Mudar which comes between Jumadi-ath-Thaniyah and Shaban."

Narrated Ibn `Abbas (RA): Once the Prophet (ﷺ) embraced me and said, "O Allah! Bestow on him the knowledge of the Book (Qur'an).


اللَّهُمَّ عَلِّمْهُ الْكِتَابَ

Narrated Abu Hurairah (RA): The Prophet (ﷺ) said: There is no prophet between me and him, that is, Jesus (ﷺ). He will descent (to the earth). When you see him, recognise him: a man of medium height, reddish fair, wearing two light yellow garments, looking as if drops were falling down from his head though it will not be wet. He will fight the people for the cause of Islam. He will break the cross, kill swine, and abolish jizyah. Allah will perish all religions except Islam. He will destroy the Antichrist and will live on the earth for forty years and then he will die. The Muslims will pray over him.

Malik (RA) related to me that he heard that Isa ibn Maryam (AS) used to say, "Do not speak much without the mention of Allah for you will harden your hearts. A hard heart is far from Allah, but you do not know. Do not look at the wrong actions of people as if you were lords. Look at your wrong actions as if you were slaves. Some people are afflicted by wrong action and some people are protected from it. Be merciful to the people of affliction and praise Allah for His protection."

(Muwatta Malik, Book 56, Hadith 1821)
 
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah (RA) that: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "On Friday, there is an hour when, if a Muslim slave asks Allah for something at that time, He will give it to him."

(Sunan an-Nasa'i 1431, Book 14, Hadith 68)
 
Narrated Ibn `Umar (RA): While `Umar bin Al-Khattab (RA) was standing and delivering the sermon on a Friday, one of the companions of the Prophet (peace be upon him), who was one of the foremost Muhajirs (emigrants) came. `Umar (RA) said to him, "What is the time now?" He replied, "I was busy and could not go back to my house till I heard the Adhan. I did not perform more than the ablution." Thereupon `Umar (RA) said to him, "Did you perform only the ablution although you know that Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) used to order us to take a bath (on Fridays)?"

(Sahih al-Bukhari 878, Book 11, Hadith 3)
 
Miqdam bin Madikarib (RA) said: “I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: ‘A human being fills no worse vessel than his stomach. It is sufficient for a human being to eat a few mouthfuls to keep his spine straight. But if he must (fill it), then one third of food, one third for drink and one third for air.’”

(Sunan Ibn Majah 3349, Book 29, Hadith 99)
 
It was narrated from Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri that a man came to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) and said:" O Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him)! Which of the people is best?" He said: "One who strives with himself and his wealth in the cause of Allah." He said: "Then who, O Messenger of Allah?" He said: "Then a believer (isolating himself) in one of the mountain passes, who fears Allah and spares the people his evil."
