It was narrated from Abu Hurairah (RA) that: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "On Friday, there is an hour when, if a Muslim slave asks Allah for something at that time, He will give it to him."

(Sunan an-Nasa'i 1431, Book 14, Hadith 68)
 
Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri (RA) said: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "There is a tree in Jannah that is so huge that if a rider of a swift horse has to cover its distance from one end to another in one hundred years, he will not be able to do so."

(Riyad ul Salihin Book 19, Hadith 18)
 
Jabir (RA) reported: I heard Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: The throne of Iblis is upon the ocean and he sends detachments (to different parts) in order to put people to trial and the most important figure in his eyes is one who is most notorious in sowing the seed of dissension.

Abu Huraira (RA) reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: None amongst you can get into Paradise by virtue of his deeds alone. They said: Allah's Messenger, not even you? Thereupon he said: Not even I, but that Allah should wrap me in His Grace and Mercy.

(Sahih Muslim Book 39, Hadith 6764)
 
Abu Ayyub Ansari (RA) reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: If you were not to commit sins, Allah would have swept you out of existence and would have replaced you by another people who have committed sin, and then asked forgiveness from Allah, and He would have granted them pardon.

(Sahih Muslim Book 37, Hadith 6621)
 
Abu Hurairah (RA) narrated that: the Prophet (SAW) said: "The best day that the sun has risen upon is Friday. On it Adam was created, on it he entered Paradise, and on it, he was expelled from it. And the Hour will not be established except on Friday."

(Jami` at-Tirmidhi 488, Book 4, Hadith 1)
 
Ibn 'Abbas (RA) reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Do not observe Saum (fasting) before the advent of Ramadan. Observe Saum at sighting of the crescent of Ramadan and terminate it at sighting the crescent (of Shawwal). If the sky is overcast, complete (the month as) thirty (days)."

(Riyad as-Salihin 1225, Book 8, Hadith 235)
 
Narrated `Abdullah bin `Umar (RA): Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "The month (can be) 29 nights (i.e. days), and do not fast till you see the moon, and if the sky is overcast, then complete Sha'ban as thirty days."

(Sahih al-Bukhari 1907, Book 30, Hadith 17)
 
It was narrated that Simak (RA) said: “I entered upon ‘Ikrimah on the day concerning which there was doubt as to whether it was Ramadan or Shaban, and he was eating bread, vegetables and milk. He said: ‘Come and eat.’ I said: ‘I am fasting.’ He adjured me by Allah to break my fast. I said Subhan-Allah twice. When I saw that he was insisting, I went forward and said: ‘Give me what you have.’ He said: ‘I heard Ibn ‘Abbas say: The Messenger of Allah said: ‘Fast when you see it (the crescent) and stop fasting when you see it, and if clouds or darkness prevent you from seeing it, then complete the number of days of Shaban, and do not fast ahead of the month, and do not join Ramadan to a day of Shaban.” ‘

(Sunan an-Nasa’i 2189, Book 22, Hadith 100)
 
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah (RA) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: ‘Whoever fasts Ramadan out of faith and the hope of reward will be forgiven his previous sins.”

(Sunan Ibn Majah, Book 7, Hadith 1710)
 
Narrated `Abdullah (RA): The Prophet (peace be upon him) fasted for days continuously; the people also did the same but it was difficult for them. So, the Prophet (peace be upon him) forbade them (to fast continuously for more than one day). They said, "But you fast without break (no food was taken in the evening or in the morning)." The Prophet (peace be upon him) replied, "I am not like you, for I am provided with food and drink (by Allah).”
