As salaam alekum ( Peace be upon you)

Hadeeth means the words, actions, approval or attributes that have been narrated from the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).

Narrated Muawiya bin Suwald:

I heard Al-Bara' bin 'Azib saying, "The Prophet (S.A.W) orders us to do seven things and prohibited us from doing seven other things." Then Al-Bara' mentioned the following:--

(1) To pay a visit to the sick (inquiring about his health),

(2) to follow funeral processions,

(3) to say to a sneezer, "May Allah be merciful to you" (if he says, "Praise be to Allah!"),

(4) to return greetings,

(5) to help the oppressed,

(6) to accept invitations,

(7) to help others to fulfill their oaths.

Dua for anxiety or stress

Anas bin Malik (R.A.) narrated: “Whenever a matter would distress the Prophet ﷺ, he would say this.” This was the Prophet’s own go-to dua when things got hard.

يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ بِرَحْمَتِكَ أَسْتَغِيثُ

Ya Hayyu Ya Qayyum, bi-rahmatika astaghith.

“O Ever-Living, O Self-Sustaining! In Your mercy I seek relief.”

A’ishah (RA) said: Every night when he prophet (ﷺ) went to his bed, he joined his hands and breathed into them, reciting into them: ”say: he is Allah, One” and say; I seek refuge in the Lord of the dawn and Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of men. Then he would wipe as much of his body as he could with his hands, beginning with his head, his face and the front of his body, doing that three times.

It was narrated that Anas bin Malik (RA) said: "Two men sneezed in he presence of the Prophet (ﷺ) and he replied ('YarhamukAllah; may Allah have mercy on you') to one and not to the other. It was said: 'O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), two men sneezed in your presence and you replied to one and not to the other?' He said: "'This one praised Allah (said Al-Hamdulillah after sneezing) but that one did not.'"

Abu Umamah (RA) narrated that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "O son of Adam! If you give your surplus it is better for you, and if you keep it, it is worse for you, but there is no harm with what is sufficient. And begin (the giving) with your dependents, and the upper hand (giving) is better than the lower hand (receiving)."

(Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2343, Vol. 4, Book 10, Hadith 2343)

Anas b. Malik (RA) reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) thus told him: When a non-believer does good he is made to taste its reward in this world. And so far as the believer is concerned, Allah stores (the reward) of his virtues for the Hereafter and provides him sustenance in accordance with his obedience to Him.
(Sahih Muslim 2808b, Book 52, Hadith 44)
