whoa the thread i started got merged , i was like 9 pages? subhaanallah then i noticed , i thought for a minute there every member of the forum took to this thread like wildfire ...

which collection is it in and whats the number of the hadith?

Insha'Allah, if I'm correct it's from Mishkat al Masabih, narrated by Imam al Tabrizi.

I don't know which number it is though.

اللهُمَّ فأَيُّمَا مُؤْمِنٍ سَبَبْتُهُ فَاجْعَلْ ذَلِكَ لهُ قُرْبةً إليكَ يَوْمَ القِيَامةِ.

Shouldnt there be a Jar Majroor there "Alaa" between the ilayka and yawm ul qiyamaah?

You mean Harf Jarr right?

No, i don't think it's necesessary, however if I were to put a Harf Jarr there I'd put "fee" there.
