I am looking for the information to go for Hajj in 2019 from United Kingdom. I am looking how & when we need to apply for the Hajj 2019. Which travel company is reliable in United Kingdom & providing the affordable packages for Hajj. I do got these two organisations from internet but couldn't decide between them, as I couldn't see a price difference between them. I need to know if the online reviews are authentic, as I got to know that some organisations put online fake reviews too.


Do guide me which travel company need to trust from them or please recommend if there is any other Hajj Umrah Travel company in UK which is reliable. I'll appreciate if someone could share the instructions to apply for Hajj, if I could apply personally. Any new rules or laws has been set by Saudi government?

Alhamdulilah. Great news. May Allah swt make it easy for you and accept your intention and worship Ameen.

Check your local authority website. I am not sure whereabouts you are from in the UK but i know our local authority does have a certified website which lists the legitmiate booking company. Please check online. If they don't ring them up they may be able to point you in the right direction.

If you haven't already usuallly word of mouth is often reliable. Speak with family members or friends who have already been and ask them which company they used. Ask if they have heard of the ones you are thinking of using.

Thirdly you can check online and read the company reviews and online comments.

I got the below advice from a government website:

Common problems experienced by Hajj pilgrims include travel providers with no protection for payments, not giving essential information such as flights, itinerary and hotel details in writing, and not providing the travel agent's full contact details.-


In some cases pilgrimages may be sold through a network of people, with no information about which company is responsible if there are any problems.-


Trading Standards advise people to check their booking details and check the following before they travel:-


• Ensure your travel agent is approved by the Ministry of Hajj in Saudi Arabia. You can check this online at www.hajinformation.com

• Ensure your agent has a Munazzam card. Hajj operators have a license number. Every year the licensed agent has to renew their license and is issued with a card.-

• Ensure your agent is ATOL registered and you receive an ATOL certificate when you book.-

• Ensure you have a contract which includes details of all the information about your booking, including the price.-

• Make sure you have full details of your trip, such as where you will be staying and for how long, flight details, what is included etc. Make a list of all the things you need to know and check with your travel agent.-


When making a payment, always get a receipt if you are paying by cash or banker's draft. Trading Standards recommends paying with a credit card, as you may have extra protection if something goes wrong.-
