Assalamualaikum :) I have done haji before my puberty. Does it count? As well as, I've been thinking a lot about hari kiamat and all that stuff and ive been more afraid of it and more sensible towards things I do. Is it normal to be afraid of kiamat? Thank you for reading and have a nice day :) assalamualaikum~ may Allah bless you with a wonderful day ^^

Hari Kiamat = Doomsday (end of the world)

:sl:

Are you from Indonesia?

According to Jumhur (majority of) Ulama, those who went hajj before puberty still got reward (pahala). However, they are still obligated to go hajj after they reach puberty age.

So, if you have reach puberty age and you are able to go hajj, you should go hajj again.

Wa alaykum as-salaam.

It is normal. In fact, we are told in the Qur'aan to fear the Day of Judgment, and it is one of the characteristics of the righteous (e.g. Umar ibn Al-khattab was fearful of the heat of that Day).

Allah's Messenger said, "If, through fear of Allah, tears--even to the extent of a fly's head--fall from any believer's eyes and drop on some part of his cheek, he will be kept away from Hell by Allah."

Al-Tirmidhi #5359, Narrated Abdullah ibn Mas'ud.

Oh, you were talking about the day of judgement. I thought you were talking about doomsday.

Yes, in Singaporean/Malaysian Melayu, hari kiamat is the day of judgement. But in Bahasa Indonesia, hari kiamat is doomsday.

:wasalamex

Even I offered before I reached puberty. It does count among your deeds, because you actually go to all the places and endure the hardships. However, it won't be counted as the one obligatory Hajj.

For men, they have to go on Hajj with their own money. And for a woman, she can go on the money earned by her father, brother, husband or son.

It is totally normal to fear Qiyamat. It is recommended to be scared of it as only Allah knows when it will take place, and when it actually will, we won't be left with any chances of repentance if we haven't sustained a righteous life already.

Assalamualaikum :) thank you for your replies ^^ I am at peace now. I thought it was weird for me to be afraid of hair kiamat. Especially during nisfu Syaaban, I was more aware. I even cried just thinking about hari kiamat. :hmm:

You will still get reward and I am impress the way you thinking about dooms day.

Kiamat Kubro or Kiamat Sughro?

Very possible you will not experience Kiamat Kubro. But you, me, and all of us must be will experience Kiamat Sughro.

Kiamat Kubro, or the big kiamat, is the time when the universe life arrive at its end, it's called: Doomsday. And Kiamat Sughro, or the little Kiamat, is the time when someone life arrive at its end. It's called: Death.

Thank you for all the information :) I'm just a few years after puberty but I'm already thinking aboutthese things and it makes me scared but I know if I do good deeds and repent, Allah will protect me and all of us Insya Allah ^^

Assalamualaikum...

Is it normal to be afraid of kiamat?

Wa alaykum assalam wa rahmatullah,

It's said that fear of Allah is the core of iman and knowledge, as Allah said:

"It is only those who have knowledge among His servants that fear Allah." (35:28)

“The believers are only those who, when Allah is mentioned, their hearts become fearful, and when His verses are recited to them, it increases them in faith; and upon their Lord they rely” [Al Anfal: 2]

He (Allah) says: “Then at this statement do you wonder? (59). And you laugh and do not weep” [An-Najm: 59-60]

“And [it is] a Quran which We have separated [by intervals] that you might recite it to the people over a prolonged period. And We have sent it down progressively. (106) Say, “Believe in it or do not believe.” Indeed, those who were given knowledge before it, when it is recited to them, they fall upon their faces in prostration, (107). And they say, “Exalted is our Lord! Indeed, the promise of our Lord has been fulfilled.” (108). And they fall upon their faces weeping, and it [i.e., the Quran] increases them in humble submission (109)”. [Al Israa 17:106-109]

The prophet
saw_2-1.png
said in the hadith related to the seven types of people whom Allah will shade on the day of resurrection, when there is no shade but His: »and a man remembered Allah while he is alone and his eyes overflowed with tears out of His fear« [Narrated by Al Bukhari and Muslim]

Masha Allah. May Allah bless you with performing Hajj again soon. Ameen.
