Halal conversations in Islam

Salams. I am a 16 year old Muslim boy and I’m talking to a 14 year old Muslim girl who plays for the same soccer club as me. We are both interested in learning about Islam and sharing Islamic resources since we are both young. We have gone a bit off path and talking about personal stuff but now we both understand and wanna just focus on having a conversation about Islam. I’ve told my mum so she knows about the girl but she said talk to a sheikh. I just wanna know if we both stay modest and respectful and only message about Islam and sharing lectures and discussing Islamic topics can this conversation continue to be halal since we aren’t interested in being ‘friends and mates’?
