120. Muhammad said, "Abu Hanifah informed us from Hammad from Ibrahim that the Messenger of Allah (saw) used to rest one hand on the other in prayer showing humility to Allah, exalted is He."
 
119. Muhammad said, "Abu Hanifah informed us from Hammad from Ibrahim that when Abdullah ibn Umar prostrated for a long time, he would rest his elbows on his thighs."
 
113. Muhammad said, "Abu Hanifah informed us saying, 'Ma'n ibn Abd ar-Rahman narrated to us from al-Qaasim ibn Abd ar-Rahman from his father that Abdullah ibn Mas'ud said, 'Treat the prayer with dignity,' meaning be still in it."
 
112. Muhammad said, "Abu Hanifah informed us saying, "Alqamah ibn Marthad narrated to us from Ali [ibn al-Aqmar] from Humraan. (Ali] said, "Ibn Umar was never to be seen narrating but that Humraan was one of the closest people to him in the assembly." [Ali} said, "So he said to him one day, 'I think that you cling so close to us that we can bring you some good.'He said, 'Of course, Abu Abd ar-Rahman .'He said, 'Watch out for the three things, two of which I forbid you and one of which I command you to do.'He asked, 'What are they Abu Abd ar-Rahman?' He said, 'Do not die owing a debt except for which you leave payment. Never repudiate a child of yours, because in retaliation he will make you notorious for it on the day of rising just as you gave him notoriety in the world. Your lord does not wrong anyone. Take care of two rak'ahs of Fajr and do not give them up because they are of the highly desired matters.'
 
111. Muhammad said, "Abu Hanifah informed us saying, 'Al-Harith ibn Ziyad or Muhaarib ibn Dithaar narrated to us that Abdullah ibn Umar said, "Whoever prays four rak'ahs after Isha before leaving the mosque, then they equal to four rak'ahs on Laylat al - Qadr."
 
105. Muhammad said, "Abu Hanifah informed us from Hammad from Abu'd-Duha from Masruq that when Abu Bakr as-Siddiq said the salaam after the prayer he used to be as if he were sitting on hot stones until he had moved from his place."
 
101. Muhammad said, "Abu Hanifah informed us that Husayn ibn Abdur Rahman said, 'Abdullah ibn Umar used to pray supererogatory prayers on his mount in what ever direction it would turn with him. Then when it was the obligatory prayer or the witr he would dismount and pray.'
 
100. Muhammad said, "Abu Hanifah informed us saying, 'Abu Ja'far narrated to us saying, "The Messenger of Allah (salallahu 'alahyi wa sallam) used to pray thirteen rak'ahs between prayer of Isha and thr Fajr: eight supererogatory rak'ahs, three rak'ahs of witr and two rak'ahs of Fajr.
 
99. Muhammad said, "Abu Hanifah informed us saying, 'Abu Sufyan narrated to us from al-Hasan al-Basri that the messenger of Allah (salallahu 'alahyi wa sallam) used to pray while sitting in ihtibah in supererogatory prayers.'
 
96. Muhammad said, "Abu Hanifa informed us from Hammad from Ibrahim that Umar ibn Khattaab placed two of them behind him and prayed in front of them, and he would place his hands on his knees. Ibrahim said, 'The way that Umar did it is prefereable to me.'
 
156. Muhammad said, "Abu Hanifah informed us saying, 'Asim ibn Abu'n- Najud narrated to us from Abu Razin that Abdullah ibn Masud took a louse during the prayer and buried it. Then later he said, 'Did we not make the earth a receptacle for the living and the dead?' (Surat al-Mursalat: 25-26)"
 
152. Muhammad said, "Abu Hanifa informed us saying, 'Abd al-Malik ibn Umayr narrated to us from Abu Ghadiyah that Umar ibn al-Khattab used to beat people for praying after Asr.'"
 
151. Muhammad said, "Abu Hanifa informed us from Hammad from Ibrahim that Umar ibn al-Khattab led his companions in Maghrib without reciting any of the Quran in the whole time until he finished. His companions said to him, 'What prevented you from reciting, Amir al - Mu'minin?' He said, 'Did I not do that? I was equipping an army to go from Madinah to Sham and I continued to ride with it stage by stage until it reached Sham,' and so he and his companions repeated the prayer."
 
147. Muhammad said, "Abu Hanifa informed us saying, 'Ali ibn al-Aqmar narrated to us that the Prophet (saw) passed by a man who had draped his garment over his head and shoulders allowing the rest of it trail down over his body during the prayer and so he folded it up for him'"
 
145. Muhammad said, "Abu Hanifa informed us that Hammad said, 'I asked Ibrahim about prayer before Maghrib and he forbade me to do it. He said, "The Prophet (saw) , Abu Bakr and Umar did not pray it"

Muhammad said, "Abu Hanifa informed us saying, 'Abd al-Malik ibn Umayr narrated to us from Ma'bad ibn Subayh that a man of the companions of the Messenger of Allah (saw) prayed behind Uthman ibn Affaan . The man broke wind and so left the prayer. He did not speak until he had done wudu and then returned saying, " and they do not knowingly persist in what they were doing" (Surah Al Imran: 135). So he calculated what he prayed and prayed what remained.'"
 
141. Muhammad said, "Abu Hanifa informed us from Hammad from Ibrahim that 'Umar ibn al-Khattab said, 'The ugliest vice is any discourse after the prayer of 'Isha except for in prayer or recitation of Quran.'"

Muhammad said, "Abu Hanifa informed us from Hammaad from Ibrahim that al-Aswad ibn Yazid asked A'ishah (raa) the Mother of the Mu'minum, about what interrupts the prayer [and invalidates it by passing in front of it] and she said, 'Do you not claim, people of Iraq, that donkeys, dogs, women and cats interrupt the prayer, and so you couple us [women] with them [animals]? Avert what you can, because nothing interrupts the prayer.'"
 
157. Muhammad said, "Abu Hanifa informed us that Hammad said, 'I asked Ibrahim about a man who slaughters a sheep while in wudhu and some blood gets on his hand. He said, "He should wash off what has got on to him but he does not need to repeat wudhu."

Muhammad ibn al-Hasan said, "Abu Hanifa informed us from Hammaad from Ibrahim [an-Nakha'i] from al-Aswad ibn Yazid that Umar ibn al-Khattaab رضي الله عنه performed wudu , and washed his hands twice, rinsed his mouth twice, rinsed his nose twice, washed his face twice, washed his forearms twice: backwards and forward, then wiped his head twice, and washed his feet twice. Hammaad said, 'Once suffices if it is done fully.'"

Muhammad said "This is the verdict of Abu Hanifa, and we adhere to it."
