Wow! So they like it? Does it taste bad? Does it smell??

My aunt used to drink it (fresh camel milk with urine) for her sickness. And I'm telling you it stank!!! :heated:

The smell is absolutely revolting subhanAllah! +o( :-[

..But it's shifaa' walhamdulillaah.

I'd drink it if I was dying of cancer :X I wouldn't need it for hepatitis as I've had the jabs, but I can't promise that I won't vomit it back up. Then again surely the PKU drinks I have to take daily taste more sickly than camel urine :D

Same here lol

Interesting point... since when did any medicine taste good!

tons of modern day medications come from plants, bacteria , fungus, even fish testicles.. Yup-- Protamine sulfate for instance is a drug that reverses the anticoagulant effects of heparin, and so next time you are in the hospital visiting someone and happen to see a Protamine IV drip you can smile to yourself and not let the patient know whose testicles were sacrificed for that.
I won't go into details with the rest, any google search will yield answers..
not every medication is made from synthetic chemicals .. we have certainly made strides using properties already available to us. especially in the last 100 yrs... but the secrets were with us all long!

I also remember that once I was prescribed some medicine that tasted particularly nice and was a cloudy yellow colour though I can't remember what it was.

It is apparently something common amongst desert Arabs to drink camel urine.

Even now?

I've heard about the medicinal value of it during the Prophet's (PBUH) time, but, I don't think I can convince myself to drink it...
