Help!! In naming my magazine

islamic horizons , nah thats jus the name of the islamic newspaper here. its quite empty.

I agree with our sister Skye Ephémérine. It really does matter what your target audience is. If it's for Muslims but also to invite others to Islam, then the name needs to attract both, age is also a factor, etc.

If it's for everyone, then keep the name simple and easy to understand. Something as simple as ISLAM is understood immediately by all audiences. Whereas something written in Arabic or its transliteration is not, so it would require a translation under the title, or if written in English, the Arabic translation/transliteration under it.

What kind of things will it have in it, and what crowd of Muslims is it directed towards. If it's directed towards youth you might want a fun name. But if it's for the older crowd you may want a serious name like I dunno "Your (monthly, yearly) Iman"
or whatever
