Aslaamu Alaaykum sister,
My advice is
Allaah is our Creator, and he is the Most Mercyful and the most kind and indeed the All Knower!.
He is our Creator, likewise he knows what is good for us and what is bad for us, i.e.What benefits one and what harms one!
So therefore he (The Creator) commands women to cover themselves and to lower our gazes , for if we did not it would harm us Women in many ways! It causes Women to have wrong relationships like having boyfriend and girlfriend relationships (In the west this seems normal to and its also "Normal" to walk in the streets naked").
Ok this is how i usually see is, Look at only your Husband and let only your husband see you and your inner and out Beauty! A women should only place her beauty for her beloved Husband (Ofcourse your Father, brother etc aswell.) and noone else!
Its part of Modesty and this involves intentions like someone who covers, but still sweet talks all men, thats not Modesty!
Ok here are some verses from the Noble Qur`aan:
“O you Children of Adam! We have bestowed on you raiment to cover your shame as well as to be an adornment to you. But the raiment of righteousness, that is the best. Such are among the Signs of Allah, that they may receive admonition.” (Quran 7:26)
“And say to the believing women that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty; that they should not display their beauty and ornaments except what must ordinarily appear therof; that they should draw their veils over their bosoms and not display their beauty except to their husbands, their fathers, their husbands' fathers, their sons, their husbands' sons, their brothers, or their brothers' sons or their sisters' sons, or their women or the servants whom their right hands possess, or male servants free of physical needs, or small children who have no sense of the shame of sex, and that they should not strike their feet in order to draw attention to their hidden ornaments. And O you Believers, turn you all together towards Allah, that you may attain Bliss.” (Quran 24:31).
“O Prophet, tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to draw their cloaks close round them (when they go abroad). That will be better, so that they may be recognised and not annoyed. Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful.” (Quran 33:59)
Ask them if they believe in God, and do they not see that their creator would know of them and what is in their hearts? Truly he knows you more than yourself and loves you more than anyone in this World (or his creation).
Hope that helps
And please check this below, its really awesome MashaAllaah!
Wa`Alaaykum Salaam

Boxer Muhammad Ali's advice to his daughter
The following incident took place when Muhammad Ali's daughters arrived at his home wearing clothes that were not modest. Here is the story as told by one of his daughters:
When we finally arrived, the chauffeur escorted my younger sister, Laila, and me up to my father's suite. As usual, he was hiding behind the door waiting to scare us. We exchanged many hugs and kisses as we could possibly give in one day.
My father took a good look at us. Then he sat me down on his lap and said something that I will never forget. He looked me straight in the eyes and said, "Hana, everything that God made valuable in the world is covered and hard to get to. Where do you find diamonds? Deep down in the ground, covered and protected. Where do you find pearls? Deep down at the bottom of the ocean, covered up and protected in a beautiful shell. Where do you find gold? Way down in the mine, covered over with layers and layers of rock.
You've got to work hard to get to them."
He looked at me with serious eyes. "Your body is sacred. You're far more precious than diamonds and pearls, and you should be covered too."
