It is a great mercy of Allah that you have memorized the holy Quran. While it is necessary to keep the same in tact in memory, it is much more important to understand the laws of faith in Allah and all that He has ordered us to do, and worship none but Allah.

Allah has said in the Quran.[2:79]: "Woe to those who write the Book with their own hands and then say: 'This is from Allah,' so that they may sell it for a petty price! Woe to them for what their hands have written and woe to them for what they have earned ."
This verse signify that those who write books imlying something as a part of the religion, while the same is not actually so, are destined to suffer woe in the world hereafter. The above verse was revealed by Allah to indicate some Jew and Christian scholars who falsely attributed their own writings to Allah. But if we look around us in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and other neighbouring countries we find almost all of our religious teachers in mosques and madrashas fall in the same category in that they earn a big chunk of their livelihood by writing books of amulet(tawiz) and/or writing amulets both group giving a false notion to the ignorant mass that the so-called tawiz therapy has come from Allah, and thus they fraudulently plunder not only money of the ignorant mass, but they also demolish their faith, while the frauds themselves still remaining revered religious scholars.
This is not all; they also cheat people with the idea that if they( the people) hire them (the mullahs) to pray to Allah on their behalf, the prayers will be heard, while in Islam one must do his duty to Allah himself.Since almost all the socalled scholars or mollahs of the said countries have become corrupt, it is the need of the hour for all the honest people to study the Quran and re-discover the true Islam where there is neither any tawiz therapy nor any provision for sale and purchase of iadah which is to be done not for earning money but for the sake of Allah alone.
