just start by volunteering in an excellent place, show promise and fortitude and take night classes to finish your degree--
You know if I wrote the story of my life here you wouldn't think we were so much different.. The only thing is I am a strong believer in ''If you don't like something about yourself then change it''-- there is no point feeling bad about how things transpired, it won't change what happened, it will shape your character to avoid similar problems, give you clear perspective, make you wiser, but it won't do more than that.. your own will and drive and hard work is what will eventually take you places..
some things happen, they are disastrous but you learn to pick yourself up and move on..
my mom and brother were in an accident today, my brother's car was totaled, my brother was taking his sha'hada then passed out, the guy on the motorcycle however, I don't know if he made it or not he is in the hospital, the guy who caused the multi car/motorcycle accident had his life change in an instant.. in fact everyone's life changed that instant.. but if you have life then all that can be fixed.. what can't be fixed however is dying, so one must do whatever they can to be at peace with their existence here and the hereafter insha'Allah..
