how to go toward islam?

I hey its AJ from fayetteville arkansas. I was thinking last night how to learn more about islam and going to a islamic centre might help? But the problem is I haven't met any muslims yet at the university, plus I am very shy to talk to random people. do you guys think it will be alright to go inside a mosque without knowing anyone?

i used to live in Fayetteville, weill actually West Fork. There are quite a few Muslims in your area. It has been awhile since I been up your way, I do not know where any Masjids are at the moment. I suspect there is an Islamic Society at UA.

Of course it will be alright to go to any Mosque at any time, Mosques were made for all man kind because Islam is for all Man Kind, and actually the whole earth we can consider it as a big Mosque were we worship our creator like the whole Universe do!
