Assalamu Alaikum wa rahmatullah,

I’m Shahrukh, a travel guide. Alhamdulillah, I’ve had the honour of guiding many brothers and sisters through Hajj and Umrah. On return, I see how deeply moved people are — they leave Makkah and Madinah on a spiritual high, hearts full of dhikr, eyes still moist with tears from the Rawdah or the Kaabah.

But then, back home, life rushes in — work, family duties, worldly stress. It hits hard. Many people have asked me: How do you hold on to that feeling? How do you protect the light you found in the Haramain when you're surrounded by distractions again?

I’d love to hear from those who’ve been — how do you personally maintain that connection throughout the year? What habits or reminders help you stay spiritually grounded? Any tips or duas that helped?

Jazakum Allahu khayran in advance.
May Allah keep our hearts firm. Ameen.
