Actually we mix both Bahasa and English in our daily communication.:exhausted

And the "Bahasa" that we use on daily basis is not the standard Bahasa Malaysia, but more to local dialects..... I speak Penangite dialect with lots of English and Hokkien words...:blind:

Our National language is "Bahasa Malaysia" (Malaysian Language) which is actually "Bahasa Melayu" (Malay Language).

Malaysian Malays use their own dialects in daily conversation... we only use the standard language in classrooms.

It's normal to see a Malay talking to another Malay in English.
