May Allah keep you happy together and grant you many pious, healthy and beautiful children who will be the coolness of your eyes. Ameen

My advice to you will be to LISTEN to your wife whenever she speaks and take her seriously. (There are many other things that I could have said but I'm sure everyone else will cover the other important points :ermm:)

Mabrook again brother. And Ameen to all the ad'iyaa.

Blessings and peace be with you Najml, may Allah bless your marriage.

Always remember. There is no marriage without problem, and there is no problem without solution.

Congratulations, brother. :)

I like this advice, it requires love, forgiveness and perseverance, time after time.

And of course to put Allah at the centre of all that you both do

In the spirit of praying for peace on Earth :)

i havnt read this myself, but something that comes to mind is Sheikh al-albaani's "the etiquette of Marriage"
http://www.ahlalhdeeth.com/vb/showthread.php?t=99633
(im not sure if its the whole book though?)

my advice:
  • respect her family/parents.
  • respect her/treat her well, compliment her.
  • get her opinion/thoughts on certain matters (and your *future* kids as well, inshallah)
  • help her out with the housework very now and again.
  • take her out/spoil her/buy her gifts every now and again
  • advice her kindly in the matters of deen and dunya/give her dawah when needed.
  • respect her rights as your wife as you would want/expect her to respect your rights.
  • never put her down/humiliate her (and especially not in front of others)
  • treat your wife and your mother as co-wives, and be careful how you deal with each of the, in front of the other. meaning, you are a pillar for both them, so they are both dependent on you in several ways--->like co-wives...if you can avoid it, do not side with your wife in front of your mother as to not cause hurt for your mother. and like wise, do not side with your mother in front of your wife, as to not cause hurt to your wife.
  • if there is argument between the 2, do your best to be just to both of them. hear both sides of the story and take it from there. either way, be as kind and understanding as you can to both of them.
  • if you argue with your wife, try sort it out between the two of you first before you go to your family (no disrespect intended) for the reason being that things will get too emotional and possibly out of hand for no reason (i've seen it happen toooo many times). so if that can be avoided, do it!!!
  • and i nearly forgot, do not get her a co-wife or joke around that you will :anger: :raging:

as for the nasheeds, I've sent you them (and the other sis who requested ) through PM's in case people will listen to them for no reason

MashaAllah! Wow!!¬
I saw this one coming, after the oh so many marriage threads u been creating haa! Now u can put it all into practise inshaAllah.

BarakAllahu laka wa lakum wa jama3a baynakuma fil khair. Ameen!

The only advice I can give u is, treat ur wife like a Princess InshaAllah!
InshaAllah in return she'll treat u like her prince! Ameen

that is so awesome. i am so happy for you. May Allah make it a blessed & happy marriage.

Women are an emotional rollercoaster. I always say that so they are far from handling...more like controlling.
