Have a lovely holiday, hope the weather holds out for you! :D

Hope you have an awesome time Glo! :D

I've had my holiday for the year, oh how I miss the white houses that are Long Island.

... on a camping holiday for a week.
Can't wait to get into the Norfolk sea and into the river.
Hoping to look for shellfish and for pretty stones on the beach.
A week of relaxing, reflecting and spending as much time outdoors as I can ...

Be excellent to each other! :)

poKe ;D

relaxing and reflecting and also some poKing I hope!

Have a safe journey there and back sis!

Give the ocean a hug for me and tell it I miss it. Although I am now near countless lakes, I do miss the ocean.

(Sudden desire to pack Aabidah up and move to Matagorda Bay on the Gulf of Mexico)

Wow, I didn't expect the thread to have grown so much in just a week!
Thank you all for your good wishes.

We had a great time, even if the weather wasn't perfect.

I couldn't resist the water and went swimming in both the river and the sea.
Like Woodrow, I love the sea particularly. There is something about it's vastness that is just awesome!

I spent some time pondering how precious life is, and how much time we waste with spreading discord and disharmony, with arguing and fighting, with feeling angry and resentful ... when perhaps we should try to cram life full of peace and thankfulness and friendship and understanding, and to share as much of that with others as we possibly can!

Welcome back Glo! :)

It's good to hear you have a wonderful time. Praise be to Allah.

Btw, the top of the house and window in the second picture is wonky? Why is that?

Edit: Tnx for sharing pics. It loks like a lovely place, especially that doorway <3

It's an old house. I guess they built them like that ...

The doorway was taken in the ruins of an old priory.
It was the most beautiful and tranquil place ...

Here are a couple more:
