I suggest you to read Riyadus Salihin book if you want to learn about Islam rules in a fast way.

Well, my teacher of English here she was converted, but she faced hard times at the begining learning about Islam and feeling alone. Now she got married and have wonderful kids. I was young when we were discussing, but because I born in Saudi Arabia I've learnt alot about Islam since I was a kid. Also the key for success always is reading for different writters and relgious men opinions not only one.
And If you needed help, I'll do my best to help anyone if I can inshallah.

ask as much as you want don't ever be shy to ask, ask, and ask this is very normal for new muslims
my advice is to read Qur'an and the meaning for what you read in explanation books (Tafseer) start with what you heart gos to you dont have to learn arabic yet
i hope evry thing gos will between you and your husband
we say (pbu) whine the prophet name is mentioned for honoring him and it means that we wish peace for him and greeting
