It seems like I should get married soon. Mods please don't delete this, I'm not talking about fantasy, I'm genuinely concerned for the truth, not lusting after every single female. But I'm very concerned about finances. I live in an expensive area. The woman im thinking of, her father advised me when I was looking to get married years ago (when I wasn't very mature and was just looking to get my sexual needs met) and I asked him while he worked at a masjid years ago, that if i wanted to get married and i didnt have the money, I should have my parents pay for it. I'm very worried I won't be able to provide for my family. Is this normal, or am I actually unable to pay for my family? I have no one to guide me, as I come from a culture that makes this stuff somewhat taboo, turkish culture, similar to what I've heard of desi culture. ("finish your studies first" "make decent money first" and when i approach my parents "sttooooppppp, i dont wanna hear about girls"). im also worried im rushing into this. i have severe ocd, and my medications help, but not all, and im worried my fear of loss and neediness is making me rush.
