I was thinking about preparing for a test for a government job
Tests like these are full of quantitative aptitude questions from subjects like mathematics , physics , chemistry , biology
It also have questions from English language and general knowledge questions .

The problem right now for me is time management

I only come back to home from work at 6.30 ...

So from today on wards i have decided to learn for it , a little everyday .

For me mathematics is the hardest subject to learn .

I have collected some good text books after searching and googling for the past 4 plus months .

I thought i could learn for it after 11 at night everyday .

I will be free when everyone is sleeping and i was always someone who likes to study at night .

I hope Allah helps me succeed this test too

Nah, dont do the government job. Whoever rules by other than the laws of ALLAH is taghoot eg. democratic government, and many more except khilafah. And if you give this exam or do this job, you're gonna be helping the taghoot(false gods).

What do you mean dont do government job? How is working in any ordinairy company better than working for the government? Can you guarantee me that the company you work at does good things with their earning, power and influence? Do they support the right goals?
Besides...not everyone has that many options to choose from. Would it be better for someone to just sit at home and receive unemployement benefit on his bank account every month?
Money which he didn't work for...which by the way also comes from the government...
Would that be better?

If you will spend most of your time studying, study something which you love. You don't want to be stuck in a field that you later found you hated.

If we see this way, then the whole country is of government isnt it? But what OP is talking about is being the officer in a government office which would be haram cuz you will have to follow the orders of government.
Government other than shariah is taghoot bcuz it has the right to make haram to halal and halal to haram. So what they are doing here? Changing the laws of ALLAH !!!!! Why would someone want to help them!?!!! And when the OP gets that office, he's gonna be the kinda head of the city and if he is the leader, shouldnt he follow the orders of ALLAH ?!!!Doesnt the leader have a great value as well as responsibility in islam? But in this job, he will simply not stop anyone from doing haram , He cant even check whether the food items contain haram products, he's not gonna say anything if a woman doesnt cover herself. HE'S GONNA FOLLOW THE RULES MADE BY TAGHOOT(FALSE GODS) AND NOT ALLAH. HE'S GONNA JUDGE PEOPLE ON THE BASIS OF THOSE STUPID RULES AND NOT ALLAH'S !!!! Isnt it enough to tell that this is haram! How can we muslims change the laws of ALLAH, how can we follow others rules instead of ALLAH's?!
If a muslim woman has shortage of "money" , she's not gonna become prostitute , she wont fall into haram ryt?
Same way, any individual should not fall into haram just to earn a lot of money?
And lastly, ALLAH provides a way out for those who have taqwa(fear of ALLAH).

doing a government job is not haram.

Why do you even consider a government job Haram ?

Quran (2:62): Those who believe and those who are Jews and Christians, and Sabians, whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day and do righteous good deeds shall have their reward with their Lord, on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve

This shows that we muslims take in what dollar scholars feed us. We have become so attached to this world that if a thing is benefitting us with "money" and is supported by majority of the people even if it's wrong, we ourselves issue a fatwa that it is not haram! Hats off to us.
I would not argue any further because it will only create hatred and my only task was to inform you but i would strongly suggest you to do your research and then decide if you wanna go into this haram profession and oppose ALLAH and His messenger!
