i got my result on the 9th and i graduated on the 13th.. so yeh i fink i did start this thread a lil after dat.

i did hire my gown for £40, d smallest hat didnt even fit me :( , it fell of enuff times, n the gown was too big too, i had to ask for pinz, n it still didnt help much, never mind, it was still a great day :) .. ceremonyz borin , but d fact uve finally completed ur degree n made ur rents proud is the best feelin... so wen u gradutin?

2 weeks later and I'm replying. (Sorry, been busy!)
I knew my results on the 9th too. I got a 2.1. (I was lazy, so I guess I should be happy with the result!)
My graduations in November though, but I got my certificate in the post last week. My uni's weird.
@JJ, I've had to hire the smallest robes and all that I could find. I sincerely hope they fit me! Did ye have to buy your guest tickets too? Am only allowed 2, but they'll let me know nearer the time if they have spares.
Did you have to shake hands with the dean? And look all smiley?

aww thats kool, r uni usually does it in sept, but this year they dun it str8 away, which meant ppl hu need to do retakes cudnt graduate!, yeh i had to buy guest tickets, der was a limit of 2, but we manage to buy an extra 1 at the door,and yes , der was no chance of me avoiding the hand shakes, kinda annoyin, and d smile happenz naturally, u dont hav to think bout that 1 lol, tc hav fun yeh inshallah ur gown will fit u heheh

Biomedical sciences, what bout yourself?
Also, I've called up the graduation office and said I ain't shaking hands if it's a dude. They said that's cool, so WOop woOp. :D
Thing is, even if some people resit, they won't be able to make it to the november graduation, they gotta do so in January. As we have to reserve our tickets 14 days after having received the results. :S
