I have masturbated for 15/16 years but like three times a week by watching porn. I am not proud of it. I have changed all my habits and stopped everything in my knowledge that I am doing wrong and started praying on time, reciting Quran everyday and understanding it and incorporating it in my life. I am monitoring all actions of my tongue, hands, private parts, eyes, ears heart and brain etc...

I am trying my best everyday now never to go back to major sins and trying my utmost best to follow seerah of prophet and doing as much zikr & dua, pray voluntary prayers, giving charity, respecting my parents, keep fast, saving up for Hajj. I am going to umrah soon.

I have no friends and i am not very smart. I... just want to try my best now to reach the highest heaven but coming across surah 23 verse 5 (surah Mu'minoon) 'and those who guard their private parts' and I have lied in my life too.

I am crying because I want to change now and leave those things permanently. I knew a about not going to jannah-ul-firdous if I masturbated and lied but I did it anyway on ocassion. I deeply regret it but never had company in my life. I am not a bad person but commmited lot of major sins. I am consistently asking for forgiveness day and night from allah to show me a sign that I can try and reach jannah-ul-firdous but I feel like even if I change I will never reach firdous because qurans mentions it.

I found this site so that I can get some advise from all of you who are 100 times better than me. Can I reach firdous by doing all of the above.

You joking?!
If you remain on good deeds&ask ALLAH Ta'ala for Jannatul FIrdaws, then ALLAH Ta'ala will grant you!

Believe in Rahma of ALLAH Ta'ala

People have done worse sins & returned to ALLAH Ta'ala & some blessed with Firdaws dreams .........

Don't despair & carry on studying Islam properly & know one thing:

ALLAH mentions in Surah Furqan that those who repent &do good, their sins turns into good deeds biidhnIllah.

Be moderate & continue to do things that are stressed in Islam with much virtues....

There's times when we are fully in strength to do good deeds, we rush like clouds coming for rain&then we LAX ,we tend to lose motivation to do those deeds.

That's why moderation is good!

Keep hope !

In sha Allah,

You should learn now, the dangers of pornography. So you hate it so much that the very word is offensive to you.

Words of Wisdom said by Akhi AmatulWudud. May Allah grant you jannah-ul-firdous by saying such powerful words. OP don't worry this is Shaytan who is confusing you and he is trying to create 'obsessive compulsive waswas' which is quote from sheikh Abu Mussab Wajdi Akkari. Continue on this straight brother. Our prayers are with you. Never let Shaytan win. Never!. There is always hope always in the Mercy and Bounties of Allah. May Allah give you Firdous. My dua is with you akhi.

Thank for the Message sister. Sorry i called you akhi. I didn't notice. I am not yet a full member of the site so this inhibits my ability to do a lot of stuff on the website. I really liked your post. it has given me inspiration to aim for the highest level in Jannah. Please remember me in your dua's for you are indeed closer to Allah than I am. Jazakallah kairun
