I have received more wages than i should have.

AsalamuAlaykum, my former workplace have paid me more than i should’ve actually received. It has been several days and no contact has been made by them to rectify the mistake. Also i have only come to realise the amount paid last night. Am i okay to keep it or should i return it? What does Islam say on this matter?

It could be your end of service benefits, but in any case, contact your former workplace and inform them about it.

Contact the wages department again to clarify this. If it is an error you need to pay it back.
