i saw in the tree

[Ummu Sufyaan]

Flying in from above so delicately
extending its wings, gliding through the evening breeze
settling on a branch in the apple tree
chirping it tunes, so melodiously
eating from the fruits so freely
with every bite, its belly enlarging
flying through the sky distinguishably
to its next bite it goes, excitedly
leaving me abit of misery
lovely was its company

such was the bird i saw in the tree
