For sure, I am just not sure how to use islamicboard.com yet! I don't know how to message others !

I hope the conversation doesn't end here. I'd like to know your thoughts as well.

FOR SURE! I would love to continue this conversation. I am sorry I haven't answer in a bit, I have a hard time using this website. I am not too used to it, and I don't think I can message others yet. I am not sure how it works yet. I do have an email, if ever you would like to continue this topic/conversation! :)

Once you make 25 posts, the forum opens up for you so you can leave visitor messages on members profiles :)

Re: Christianity and Islam: Can both have a conversation without argument?

I don't believe in the idea of being "saved" simply because we "believe" - this I find very escapist and against the teachings of all the prophets and messengers - many there will be in hell who used to say "we believe" but their actions were contradictory to their word. The proof of your belief, is in your actions. Not the tongue. The tongue only states what it wants to state.

I believe this.

I believe everyone is a hypocrite at points in their lives. I also believe that what is more important than recognizing a failure is correcting the failure. This belief can be seen in more than just Islam, but in all facets of practical society and in the workplace. Words alone are not productive. It takes action. People can be sorry, but if they do nothing to correct themselves... they continue to be sorry.
