I want to get married

I see in newspapers and social a lot of muslim sisters fail to live as couples and get divorced,have problems etc..
I am 22 year old and i am strict in path of dheen but i have 10x more thoughts about marriage asap.but i am less courageous and even if i ask noone will provide me with a wife.
I am not engaging in any sins.i am deviating myself from a lot of thoughts and i ask dua to Allah to ease my hardship.
My name is shamnad.i have to maintain my chasticity.if any brother here who could help me find a good dheeny girl.
I am in last semester in uni .
Civil engineering.
So i hope to get a job next year.but i cant wait an year.i am from Kerala in india.
My dream in life is to become a successful daee in the way of Tableegh.
Cuz that changed my life.
Still i am struggling to keep my eeman.
I have one brother who is mentally challenged slightly.so i cannot expect marriage or something from most people who cares for such.

I will start my post with story that happened in the time when my sister was still unmarried. … In that time my sister needed to rent a house for her office. After she found a house, she went with my mom to meet the house owner. They met the house owner and her son, a shy guy who was very polite. My mom was impressed by his politeness, but also wonder because seemed like that guy was still alone. So my mom asked his mom “Has your son married?”. His mom told my mom that her son was still unmarried although he had tried to find a wife. After heard that my mom suddenly got idea. And …..

… now that guy is my brother in-law. My sister’s husband.

Yeah, young bro, life-partner can come through two ways, you find someone, or you found by someone. Like my brother in-law who found by my mother.

So my advice for you and other young brothers who want to get married. Do not only think to seek and find someone. But improve yourself to be good, and can be found by people who have unmarried female relative. Do not lock yourself in your room, but active in socialization in society, and always maintain you good behavior that can make people have positive view on you.

And In Shaa Allah, there are always people who have no problem with your brother. My close friend has a brother who mentally challenged too. And he already married.

In the meantime..do steady fasting and distract your mind until the time comes. If such situation arises and you couldn't find a wife..don't despair as long as you protect your iman you will have a wife from paradise itself if you can't find one here.

Just be patient and pray to Allah (Subhanahu Wa Talaa) to give you strength.

Make dua.

Dua is seriously underestimated in our times.

When you make dua you are asking the One who made you - something no one else can do - to give you what you want.

You must

Be persistent in dua.

Ask yourself this: How long does it take one to reach a position of greatness in worldly affairs. First, you go to school. Then, you go to college. Then, when you find a job you work day and night and after a decade you reach a place where you feel like you have accomplished something.

Why are we so hasty when we make dua and ask the King of kings?

We apply one rationale to the world and another when asking Allaah.

Be patient and keep making dua. No one can give you what you want. Only Allaah can.

And never forget that if He delays the answer, then it is for your own good.

Just look around and you will find people who begged Allaah for something and He gave it to them. They regretted getting it.

Assalam walaikum,

You and me both and plenty of others... be careful what you ask for. Course you should want to get married... why shouldn't you. A marriage has so many blessings Alhamdulillah ONLY if you find the right person. Keep praying brother and maintain your approach in finding a spouse to be within permissible means only. Permissible as in 'as per our sunnah, our religion and off course with caution'.

So keep praying and no matter what happens whether good or bad when a proposal comes through and / or after you are married, always remember any consequences which occur have come from non other than our rabb, Allah swt.

You never know when your prayer will be answered, but you need to make the effort, remember us in your prayers too. There is a special prayer for those wanting a partner or for those searching for contentment after marriage:

“Our Lord! Grant unto us spouses and offspring who will be the comfort of our eyes, and give us (the grace) to lead the righteous.

(Rabbana hab lana min azwajina wa dhurriyatina qurrata a`yunin wa’j`alna li’l muttaqina imama)” [Qur’an, 25:74]

رَبَّنَا هَبْ لَنَا مِنْ أَزْوَاجِنَا وَذُرِّيَّاتِنَا قُرَّةَ أَعْيُنٍ وَاجْعَلْنَا لِلْمُتَّقِينَ إِمَاماً

Don't rush anything, always proceed with emotional intelligence (or even build this attribute up in your mindset if you feel you don't have the EI). May ALLAH swt bless all of us who are struggling (with god fearing spouses) Insh Allah.
