A really good way to break into the speaking of Arabic (Egyptian) is to use the Michel Thomas learning method. He makes it easy. It will give you a basic start and you will be confident that you can at least form some basic sentences. You will be surprised how much you can say after just a few hours.

I've studied other languages too, and Michel Thomas is the best for getting started in my opinion.

I need to learn arabic grammar and verbs etc...Need to learn how to form proper sentences...I just learnt a bunch of vocabulary here and there and it all becomes a mess inside my head when i'm trying to communicate with someone in Arabic :(

:sl: Sister Iris

I would highly recommend the following sites.
You start learning from the basics, you learn how to form sentences, verbs grammar etc
There are 3 books in total and the videos cover a class that studies these books.
The books are called Madina arabic books.
The first book is covered with 9 DVD's ( which you can order or download from the sites below)
The second book has 16 DVD's and the 3rd book has 23 DVD's.
It is very detailed.

You can download the DVD's or order them but shipping out of Canada cost quite a bit of money.

Alternatively you can watch it on youtube.

There's load of books that yooh can read as well..:p

The very guick method is to have freindship with an arabic speaking fellow.

Learn to Speak Arabic CDs are also available in market to teach arabic which I found very much helping.

But I will say again, learning arabic is very easy when you creat an arabic speaking environment around you.

Assalam Alaikom

this is my point of veiw as an Arab , you have to learn from a real teacher
